Will a Return to Storybrooke Improve the Ratings for 'Once Upon a Time'? (Poll)

Last week Once Upon a Time tied its series low with a 1.9 adults 18-49 rating. The show has spent the bulk of its season in Neverland. Tonight, the action returns to the show's original setting of Storybrooke. Will the return to familiar surroundings improve the show's performance? Make your predictions then explain your reasoning in the comments section.

just out of curiosity, why do u guys post this poll week after week for a show that is clearly fading when their is much more better shows out there to conduct a poll?strange!!!

  • Someone

And here I thought last week was the mid-season finale…

  • Pyxee

You aren’t alone I did too.

I predicted a 2.1, mostly because I think the weather will be a factor in bringing up.

  • brian

A slight upgrade to 2.0 but not much. I think OUAT fans have been burned one too many times.

  • Refrain

I predict a 1.9/2.0 and under 7 million. 2 more Peter Pan episodes left to go ;)

  • AniMatsuri

I don’t think a lot of people liked the idea of Peter Pan being the bad guy and instead of wrapping it up, it looks like they’ll let it spill over into the Storybooke episodes since Pan is still on the loose.

  • AniMatsuri

…So only slight improvement in ratings seems a reasonable guess.

  • diana

I’m guessing that ouat will get a 2.1 and revenge will be a 1.8 for two reasons 1 it won’t have to face the walking dead or good wife and pretty much just football and 2 this is the episode that leads up to the shooting

  • Parker

    hoping for a 2.1 for OUAT and a 1.8 for Revenge :)

  • frodo

    Revenge 1.8-1.9
    Once 2.1
    Mentalist 1.6

  • CBSviewer

    Tonight ratings:

    The Simpsons: 3.1
    Bob’s Burgers: 1.9
    Family Guy: 2.4
    American Dad: 2.0

    The Amazing Race: 2.4
    The Mentalist: 1.8

    Once Upon a Time: 2.0
    Revenge: 1.7
    Betrayal: 1.0

  • tv_viewer

    My predictions:

    Once Upon A Time 1.9
    Revenge 1.5
    Betrayal 0.9

    The Amazing Race 2.0
    The Mentalist 1.6

    The Simpsons 3
    Bob’s Burger 1.9
    Family Guy 2.2
    American Dad 1.9

    Sunday Night Football 8.0

Peter Pan in Storybrooke won’t boost the ratings. Today’s episode of OUAT will equal its ratings from last week.

I don’t sense Lydia’s fans turning up in tonight’s episode of Revenge in the same way that the little mermaid fans showed up for OUAT to see her origin story. Tonight’s episode of Revenge should equal the ratings of the last episode.

Amazing Race 23 seems to suffer because 3 of the final 4 teams have a negative edit. Leo and Jamal were portrayed as liars, Nicole and Travis as hypocrites, and Marie (from Tim and Marie) as someone who shouldn’t be trusted to make a deal for the express pass. The only team with a neutral/positive edit will likely win Amazing Race 23. Tonight’s season finale will probably drop 0.1 from last week.

Note to CBS casting: You don’t need to cast annoying people like Big Brother Rachel in the Amazing Race. I think there is a good chance that Amazing Race 23 finale will beat Once Upon A Time tonight.

The Mentalist surprised me last week with a 1.7 rating. Now that last week’s episode explained why Patrick Jane wanted to go back to working with law enforcement, the ratings should drop 0.1 because fans seem to want to see Jane working with Lisbon rather than Agent Fischer.

I did like the show, but whole season 2 was one big soap opera.
I’m not interested in season 3 so far, maybe with more action and a real story, it will be nice again.

  • Euphemia

Once has lost a lot of viewers and I don’t think they are coming back. I think this season will stay around 1.7 – 2.0

  • Ekras

I think it’s going to match it’s all time high :)-

  • Krystaaal

Lydia is back in Revenge!? I think I might have missed an episode :/ how do you know this?

  • Someone

@Krystaaal. She popped as the cliffhanger of the last episode. It was a big “whaaaaaaat” moment for me.

  • Networkman

I haven’t really seen any promos for Revenge throughout the week. I’m not sure if viewers are even aware it is airing tonight. Anyways these are my predictions:

    Once Upon a Time 2.0
    Revenge 1.6

  • Refrain

@You don’t need to cast annoying people like Big Brother Rachel in the Amazing Race

You’re going to hate Season 24 then. In a desperate attempt to get more viewers, they’ve cast Brendan and Rachel and Joey and Meghan in the All Stars lol

  • diana

@networkman I agree I haven’t seen even one promo for revenge or even ouat for that matter ABC is.doing a very lousy job with the marketing this they need to spread their promos and not just give all of the promotion to scandal while its up to all of the other shows to fend on their own and pretty much ratings are reflecting that and plus its bringing down their network average. if ABC keeps this up the only hit it will really have is scandal I’m also wondering why ABC is airing so many promos for ouat in Wonderland.and none for.ouat I swear this network needs to get their act together or it will be a failure in the future
