Definitions:

Fast Affiliate Ratings: These first national ratings, including demographics, are available at approximately 11 AM (ET) the day after telecast, and are released to subscribing customers daily. These data, from the National People Meter sample, are strictly time-period information, based on the normal broadcast network feed, and include all programming on the affiliated stations, sometimes including network programming, sometimes not. The figures may include stations that did not air the entire network feed, as well as local news breaks or cutaways for local coverage or other programming. Fast Affiliate ratings are not as useful for live programs and are likely to differ significantly from the final results, because the data reflect normal broadcast feed patterns. For example, with a World Series game, Fast Affiliate Ratings would include whatever aired from 8-11PM on affiliates in the Pacific Time Zone, following the live baseball game, but not game coverage that begins at 5PM PT. The same would be true of Presidential debates as well as live award shows and breaking news reports.

Rating: Estimated percentage of the universe of TV households (or other specified group) tuned to a program in the average minute. Ratings are expressed as a percent.

Share (of Audience): The percent of households (or persons) using television who are tuned to a specific program, station or network in a specific area at a specific time. (See also, Rating, which represents tuning or viewing as a percent of the entire population being measured.)

Time Shifted Viewing – Program ratings for national sources are produced in three streams of data – Live, Live+Same Day (Live+SD) and Live+7 Day. Time shifted figures account for incremental viewing that takes place with DVRs. Live+Same Day (Live+SD) include viewing during the same broadcast day as the original telecast, with a cut-off of 3:00AM local time when meters transmit daily viewing to Nielsen for processing. Live+7 Day ratings include incremental viewing that takes place during the 7 days following a telecast.

  • SVU: Hannibal

    Ashkey

    It was a blowout.

But that didn’t stop anyone in New Orleans from watching, SNF got a 58.2 HH rating in New Orleans (third highest ratings for a Saints game).

  • diana

Well at least revenge is steady

  • Patrick Ausgewahlt

Still amazed FOX is letting American Dad! go. That 2.1 is higher than all their live action comdies besides sometimes New Girl. And it got a 1.7 last week with a repeat lead in. Better than Dads, Brooklyn 99, Mindy Project, X Factor, Glee, Bones and Raising Hope.
On a similar note, you’d think sandwhiched between a 3 and a 2.6 would help Bob’s Burgers get more than a 2.1. The 2.1 is still good none the less

  • Douglas from Brazil

Revenge is doomed people, it’s doomed.I hope ABC cancel that s*** in May.Nashville is doing better than Revenge, also they have Connie Britton.Greys hits low at 2.3 rating, should end in May, and Scandal is almost tying Modern Family in the demo 18-49 which is concerning.

  • John A

Still not great for Revenge in a way as TWD was always blamed for it dropping and thats over and didnt go up.

  • CBSviewer

I don’t know if The Mentalist will be canceled. It’s doing OK considering there’s no longer Red John and it airs at 10:30.

  • DenverDean

    @Douglas from Brazil

If it’s a toss-up CBS will always choose TGW (or any other CBS production) over TM (WB).

  • CrimTV

Revenge will get a 4th season. I can’t believe that people still don’t understand the idea of syndication after us telling them for months!

  • JaneDoe24

Well TWD is not on at the moment, so what is the excuse for Revenge now? I think the show lost too many viewers because of season 2. I still watch on ABC.com.

  • Steve A

@John A. I think steady is used for higher ratings. Flat is for low ratings. But TWD wasn’t on last night and Revenge didn’t go up so that can’t be used as an excuse anymore

  • Ronald

my guess was right with both 2.2 and 105 damed i wish Revenge could go higher hope next week do the trick, Revenge really deserves more

  • Jon

I must admit I figured revenge would uptick slightly with twd done. It appears that the show has been damaged beyond repair first from its move to Sunday and second by some of the storylines in season 2. One of them the death of fake Amanda. What a regrettable choice that was. The show is just not getting those fans back.

  • ravi

steady v. flat. Semantics. ratings suck for revenge. 10p move won’t help.

  • psychic

Good for OUAT. If The Mentalist keeps this up, could a miracle season 7 hypothetically be possible?

  • Brandy

@Douglas from Brazil, The thing is even though Nashville is doing better than Revenge(but barley, they’re both at 1.5-1.6) Revenge is a season away from syndication while Nashville is two seasons away.Plus, Nashville shoots on location innTN and that’s exspensive .

  • BD

Once was excellent last night – even with Pan in Storybrook. The last 2-3 episodes have definitely picked up the pace of the storyline so it has been holding my interest. I read the next season is about Repunzel so I am curious as to what that entails.

  • Brandy

    Yay once is up!

  • al

I thought revenge was still on break! shoot I have to catch up now before next week

  • Jon

@Douglas….while revenges ratings are no where near stellar. They still are acceptable enough to roll with especially as syndication season 4 looms.

  • AllOfHerTw!st

Go The Mentalist! Maybe another season is in the cards?
