Fast Affiliate Ratings: These first national ratings, including demographics, are available at approximately 11 AM (ET) the day after telecast, and are released to subscribing customers daily. These data, from the National People Meter sample, are strictly time-period information, based on the normal broadcast network feed, and include all programming on the affiliated stations, sometimes including network programming, sometimes not. The figures may include stations that did not air the entire network feed, as well as local news breaks or cutaways for local coverage or other programming. Fast Affiliate ratings are not as useful for  live programs and are likely to differ significantly from the final results, because the data reflect normal broadcast feed patterns. For example, with a World Series game, Fast Affiliate Ratings would include whatever aired from 8-11PM on affiliates in the Pacific Time Zone, following the live football game, but not game coverage that begins at 5PM PT. The same would be true of Presidential debates as well as live award shows and breaking news reports.

Rating: Estimated percentage of the universe of TV households (or other specified group) tuned to a program in the average minute. Ratings are expressed as a percent.

Share (of Audience): The percent of households (or persons) using television who are tuned to a specific program, station or network in a specific area at a specific time. (See also, Rating, which represents tuning or viewing as a percent of the entire population being measured.)

Time Shifted Viewing – Program ratings for national sources are produced in three streams of data – Live, Live+Same Day (Live+SD) and Live+7 Day. Time shifted figures account for incremental viewing that takes place with DVRs. Live+Same Day (Live+SD) include viewing during the same broadcast day as the original telecast, with a cut-off of 3:00AM local time when meters transmit daily viewing to Nielsen for processing. Live+7 Day ratings include incremental viewing that takes place during the 7 days following a telecast.

ouch for AoS but its nice for the comedies. i agree on the switch for the comedies/AoS. it just seems like a very incompatible night for abc, and as i recall they’re not adjusting it for the spring. why???

  • HalCapone

High perv factor in the 10pm hour. Get a room people!

  • dantes momma

    Quit pickin on my boy.

  • Matt

You know, if people stopped giving Dante the satisfaction of replying he’d probably get bored and go away. Week after week, all of you do exactly what he wants. Even when he doesn’t comment, you all comment asking where he is!

  • al

I however do thinkk chicao PD will flop

  • Hel-luhr

That’s a strange rating for AOS on the heels of a 2.5/2.6 for the last first-run episodes. That kind of half-a-point drop makes me think either people didn’t know it was new this week (as it was a rerun last week), or the new NCIS diverted some eyes. The show needs some sort of well-publicized revamp and/or timeslot shift. It will probably still get renewed as long as it stays over a 2.0 but the rope is disappearing.

  • xwiseguyx

Dante had an unfortunate incident in Chicago and the memories are too painful for him to accept, so he has to resort to some misguided lashing out in order to compensate.. It’s OK though.. he is getting the appropriate therapy.

  • al

LOL even Revenge beat it in total viewers (now thats funny)

  • Douglas from Brazil

Why it says Chicago down to 2.1 if the table shows 2.2?

  • Douglas from Brazil

The Goldebergs getting a renewal,Trophy Wife getting cancelled..

  • Eve

    I NEED HALF HOURS, PLEASE!!!

  • Edward

Sara, your analysis is incorrect on CF. it got a 2.2, not a 2.1.

  • THE OLD MAN

CBS back on top with the NCIS twins & the VS Fashion show

ABC took a big hit as AOS drops to series low & WWYD falls to 0.9, but TG & TW improved over last week

NBC entire slate drops from last week

FOX AMA 1.4 does worse than regular comedy sked (?!)

While GAGA & KP come nowhere close to TO/SPN numbers

  • WOWZA

So, The Goldbergs is a hit that is worth watching apparently! This is very good news. I need to watch it I can see it having a season 2 and 3 and 4 and being after The Middle sometime.

ACAs are ridiculous. Its year 4 already? Thats insane. I remember when they announced it. I can’t believe its year 4. Crazy.

AOS future: BOOM: I really thing Agent of Shield must suck. It dropped .6. Thats a ton. 2.0 is a hit? Well, actually yes it is. It is doing better than other ABC dramas at this level, but will it just continue to drop , and drop, and drop and end up at a 1.4 by seasons end and then have ABC bring it back in the Fall anyway and hope for 2.0′s again but only start with a 2.0 and then end up next year at 1.3′s by the end of the season, leading to a third season that starts at 1.6 and ends at a 1.0 and gets cancelled?

  • hmm

I’m interested to see how AOS does after the holidays. It’s already been deleted from my DVR (they spend way too much money on it for it not to be a better show) but maybe the cliffhanger I read about will improve it?

  • Edward

You’re incorrect on NBC, The Old Man. CF is even with last week.

  • Stephanie

I DVRed Agents of Shield and Loved the episode….don’t know why it was down….I think the ratings thing lies or something. I enjoy this show and I am hoping for the best. The ending was excellent and WOW! A Cliffhanger to boot! I want to know what happened to Mike, the one who has powers and I want to know what happened to Colsen…especially dealing with the back from the dead thing. I hope he is not a clone or something like that.

I also like Chicago Fire…DVRed it….and will watch at a later time, and I enjoy this show. Also DVRed NCIS…love that show too. Don’t watch NCIS: LA….like it but not enough to want to watch. And don’t watch the Voice anymore….like the show but it is on at the same time as other fav shows.

So I like AOS…not sure why no one else doesn’t….it is a fun and interesting show to watch. I like to see behind the scenes kind of stuff. and that is what the Agents are all about. Yes, I like to see some of the heroes but that is not what this show is about.

  • Barbie

I’ve actually missed Dante and his lack of medication. I hope he stays away from his pdoc next year!

  • GregP

Remember how much SHIELD went up when NCIS was off? I think that should send a signal to ABC to move it. A lot of us have commented many times on ABC’s unwillingness to either move shows or counter-program the other networks. Another example, the insanity of trotting out Dancing With the Stars at the same time as the Voice.
