Not surprised. Y&R needs to up the drama if they want to get back to number one. B&B will probably rise next week with the debut of Thorsten Kaye and and JMW”s return. I think Y&R can return to number one in the demos if they improve their product.

    Oh HELL……………………………

GH has been at its best under Frank and Ron. You never know what cliffhanger is going to happen everyday. Wonder how the ratings will be when ABC shuts down soapnet? Hopefully one day it may end up on TVGN for those he need to view at night time. Hate to see anyone left out. So many don’t even know soapnet will end December 31st.You don’t have internet you really have no clue a lot of things ending. Just like the shock when people tuned in to watch the soaps and they were no longer on. Hard to know cancellation without internet anymore. Congrats GH…

  • Jeff

Congrats again to the cast and crew of GH. DEMOS really went up. Great job.

  • Matt

First time GH was #1 in all key women demos in almost SEVEN years. Wow. Just… WOW.

OMG, the show didn’t crash and lose all its viewership. Hopefully they can maintain over 3 million viewers now. I heard great news about Days too. This is awesome.

  • Stephen Judson

Edit: They didn’t lose viewers at all, they are up from last week. This is amazing.

Frank had better find a way to hold on to Kimberly McCullough. It never has been told how long her contract was for. Her return has been the thing the show needed to give it that extra punch. Even all the returns for the 50th and the nurses ball couldn’t do this. And definitely the return of the OLTL 3 couldn’t do it.

I’m not watching but congrats to GH.

It’s not just the Robin character. It is the fact that every star has their own storyline that is interesting and compelling. The AJ murder trial was some good stuff last week. Bringing back old favorites, casting people whose characters connect to GH’s past, and adding new and interesting characters combined made GH the powerhouse it’s becoming. There’s something for everyone.

Omg GH hit a 3.45 million on a Friday lol.

  • Mike

Again no mention of The View. They have to be dropping big time.

I just wonder if some of these shows ABC is developing is possibly to replace it. There are not even any rumors about who will replace Barbara Walters now.

  • Mike

I am not watching so I don’t know what is going on with the show other than what I read in comments in the ratings thread. The majority of the comments there are about Patrick and Robin and her return.

I know that her return is the only return that has even tempted me to come back to the show. If it has been reported how long her contract was for and how long she was going to stay I probably would have. Patrick and Robin are the only couple that I have really cared about on GH in years.

Plus following the comings and goings news. So I just based it on that and how her arrival brought these record ratings esp. after the summer when GH was once again going back down to the previous lows it had set.

GO GH!!! Kimberly McCullough is a ICON! give her all the $ she wants..she deserves it! # 1 in ALL KEY DEMOS!

  • diana

Mike, I so agree, Robin and the Scorpio family are the best thing GH has got going. And Scrubs is the best couple GH has had since Jax&Brenda. Romance and adventure is what put GH on the map. Why they haven’t emphasized this more is beyond me. Making Sonny and the mob the focus of the show has turned off a lot of female viewers. There’s more balance now, I don’t resent Sonny as much, I get to see my favorites, now all I need is Sean&Tiffany and it will be perfect. :)
