Scandal Boom Goes the Dynamite Olivia

Last week, Scandal garnered a 3.0 adults 18-49 rating while competing head-to-head with powerhouse The Sound of Music Live. Tonight, the show's midseason finale faces off against the less formidable Parenthood. With the show going on hiatus until February 27, this really is a finale. So how will Scandal fare tonight? And does Maya being a terrorist   justify every awful thing that Rowan has done?  Make your predictions than discuss your reasoning in the comments.

I’m thinking 3.3-3.5 for tonight. It will easily win the 10pm hour & no longer dependent on GA to boost it.

  • rob60990

Hype hype hype. Thats all this show is living off of. I can’t wait until the hype fades away. It will sink so fast heads are gonna spin.

  • Kenny

Lower than 3.0. No one cares enough to make this must watch television. Season as a whole has been lacking.

  • iSayso

Sorry, I don’t have another damn to give.

  • michael

@rob60990 HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH. When hype lasts for 20 episodes it is no longer hype. It’s called a hit. How’s Revenge doing in the 1′s?

  • BrieK

    3.5

  • KC

Scandal is going up to season premiere-like ratings… I am predicting a 3.5, 10 million+! It is a much anticipated fall finale!

  • KC

Those haters out there, soak in the 2.9, 3+ ratings that Scandal continues to receive while Revenge continues to top out at 1.5! I like Revenge, but the super fans that continue to bash Scandal really have nothing to brag about!

    @iSayso
“Sorry, I don’t have another damn to give.”

You apparently give enough of a damn to tell everyone about how you’ve run out damns and are therfore incapable of giving a damn.

  • Lasko6

    3.3

  • iSayso

    @HeadlessHorseman:

Oh, please. That was merely lint from my navel.

  • Alecia

I’m thinking 3.0 to 3.2. I don’t really see it going any higher even though I would love if it did.

  • NBC Fan

Once Upon a Time in Wonderland-1.0
    Greys’s Anatomy-2.8
    Scandal-3.2

    The Big Bang Theory-5.2
    The Millers-2.6
    The Crazy Ones-2.2
    Two and a Half Men-2.3
    Elementary-1.8

    The X-Factor-1.4
    Glee-1.2

    The Sing Off-1.6
    Sean Saves the World-.9
    The Michael J Fox Show-.9
    Parenthood-1.2

    The Vampire Diaries-1.2
    Reign-.7

  • Networkman

I’m going with a 3.1 I’m curious to see if Scandal can finally pull in over 10 million live viewers.

  • tv_viewer

    My predictions:

Once Upon A Time in Wonderland 0.9
    Grey’s Anatomy 2.6
    Scandal 3.2

    The Big Bang Theory 5.3
    The Millers 2.8
    The Crazy Ones 2.2
    2.5 Men 2.2
    Elementary 1.8

    The X Factor 1.4
    Glee (repeat) 0.6

    The Sing-Off 1.5
    Sean Saves The World 1.1
The Michael J. Fox Show 1.1
    Parenthood 1.3

    The Vampire Diaries 1.1
    Reign 0.6

Scandal fans know they have a long hiatus after tonight so I’m going with a 0.2 increase from last week.

The Big Bang Theory suffered from going against The Sound of Music Live last week because it was perceived as an “event.” The Sing-Off isn’t event programming so TBBT should bounce back with a vengeance with its Christmas episode.

Simon Cowell should be embarassed that The Sing-Off beat The X Factor last night. Tonight his ego should be deflated again.

  • Riley

    OUATIW: 1.0
    Greys Anatomy: 2.5
    Scandal: 3.4

*ABC needs to swap greys and scandals time slots. I think greys anatomy would benefit from scandal airing before it.
