    The problem is that The Crazy Ones is the only single cam comedy on CBS. They should renew it and create an hour of Single cam Comedies on Thursday (9:00PM-10:00PM).

  • Ariana

    Why don’t the mods just ban rob60990?

  • MARTY

    dave elementary will be renewed and moved to sundays, it is cbs owned and cbs does not cancel its own dramas in their second yr. the mentalist is done, it is not cbs owned and no reason for them to keep it

  • Dahne

    @Justin – TVD was not the lowest performer in its timeslot as Wonderland got a 0.8 demo. The only way TVD was lowest is if you are talking viewers, which means nothing.

  • Douglas from Brazil

    Is this a series low for 2.5 men?

  • milo

    Nothing more idiotic than when a show posts a great number and some jackass insists it’s a disappointment and should have done way better. And news flash, “hype and promotion” don’t get big numbers, shows that people want to watch get big numbers.

  • rob60990

    “You’re criticizing ABC for implementing a marketing strategy that works?”

    How exactly is it working when the whole primetime lineup is tanking except one show?

    “Why don’t the mods just ban rob60990?”

    Because I’m not insulting anyone and I don’t post under numerous names. You just don’t like my opinion. Deal with the fact that not everyone agrees Scandal is some big success.

  • milo

    And I totally agree with having the mods step in and ban the blatant trolls, they just bring down these discussions. ALthough who knows, maybe the mods like them since they may increase responses and thus advertising hits.

    To everyone on TVBTN, listen to me:

    rob6990. is. a. TROLL!!!! He hates on Scandal and acts crazy in order to get a reaction out of you people. Same with Dante, same with jenna, same with Matt, etc. Stop replying to him. You’re giving him what he wants. I mean, is it that hard to ignore him? Do you really need to get into a fight with a guy who shouldn’t be taken seriously? Just saying.

    If TCO moves to 8:30, as people wish, 9:00 slot could sink further.

    Glad to see SSTW stay above 1.0 which would not make its season 2.
    So sorry to say this as a NBC fan that the scrips of SSTW n JFS are so lame.
    Guys with Kids would do better in that slot.

    @charlie
    reigns awesome what even

  • don juan

    Mom is getting renewed before TCO. They may both get canceled they may both get renewed. But if it’s one or the other, mom will get a season 2

  • Doug

    CBS Thursday is an unmitigated disaster. There’s very little to save here. Not even The Millers, which will probably crash without TBBT. This certainly was not what they were expecting. Hell, even I was expecting them to average at least a 3 from 8:30 to 10

  • mmel

    @rob60990,
    Don’t ever change, you keep me entertained and you never demean the actors on the shows which I really like. Now we just need Max to come back I really miss him, he was funny. BTW you are dead wrong about scandal, you were wrong last year , you were wrong this year and you will be wrong next year

  • Dave

    @Marty

    I understand that it is a CBS owned show, but it is a show that is now only getting a 1.7 on Thursdays and is at least 2 full seasons away from syndication, if its getting a 1.7 on a Thursday how much lower will it go on a Sunday night when it will be starting at all sorts of different times due to football overruns. The Mentalist was getting 2.4-2.5′s in its last episodes on Thursdays before it was moved, it dropped around in 0.4 in the demo in its first few episodes after the move, using that as a barometer is CBS going to be happy with a show doing a 1.3 on a Sunday and probably dropping lower as the season goes on. For me Elementary is in trouble and as i say i am a fan so that doesn’t being me any pleasure in saying that. As for the Mentalist i really hope it gets renewed.

    @Doug
    Michael J. Fox is a legendary actor, someone known thoughout the world for some of the movies he has made, someone who is an inspirational figure as well for the work he does with his foundation and then you compare that to Sean Hayes whose whole premise as an actor/writer is be flamboyant and cocky and hype up how wonderful he is, yet he is not even funny. As i said a sad sad day for the entertainment industry.

    Congrats to Kerry Washington and the cast of Scandal! By far the most well written and acted show on television. :)
    Rob is probably fighting to hold back his tears right now. He can’t say Scandal didn’t fully win it’s time slot, as it slaughtered Elementary in both demo and total viewers! I think the only reason Rob hates on Scandal so much is because he doesn’t like the fact that the network’s number 1 drama has a black woman as the lead. Truth is Ms. Van Camp could learn a thing or two about acting from Kerry. I just about fell off the couch laughing at how awful Emily’s acting was during last Sunday’s Revenge, especially during that scene outside the doctor’s office!
    “Oh my god, how did the press find out? No one knew but your mother.” LMAO was she even trying during that scene? :)

  • Gabriel

    is’t it normal that shows in its first season score this type of numbers? I fear for TCO :(

  • willowxandra
