R.I.P Brody! Your long hard road has come to a relitively peaceful end. S4 should be an interesting mini-reboot!

It’s difficult to know which actors (aside from Claire Danes) will return for season 4 based on how this episode wrapped up. I liked the third season overall, but thought the finale had a weak ending.

    I guess that’s good.
Still last season ended with 4 consecutive over-2-million-viewers eps, vs. 3 this season.

Masters of Sex down from last week. Too bad, was hoping it could hit another high.

This season was not as good as the last 2… I am glad they killed off Brody, they milked his story dried. I’m happy they can start with a clean slate next season.

I loved the first 2 seasons of Homeland. And loved the middle of season 3, but last nights last few minutes just didn’t leave me with any kind of excitement for next season at all.

This season was all over the place. It got good and the finale was great until the last 10 or so minutes. It was just so flat.

This to me was definitely the worse of the 3 seasons. It has really gone downhill. It wasn’t even the lack of Brody. It was just something was really missing the whole season. And the Dana story really was bad.

Good thing I saw Homeland before people mentioned spoilers here. I wonder if Mandy Pantinkin will stay with the show or stay retired. Like 24 I guess anyone on this show can die.

@TVMAN – But they are not. They got rid of Mandy (Saul), but are keeping Claire – who is either in a manic state, or looking like a deer in headlights as she (apparently) cannot remember her lines constantly needing to check the teleprompter. So unless these were part an epic lie, this show is dead to me.

I think it was appropriate that they killed Brody, since they had no idea what to do with him. But by turning the CIA into a bad guy, they just burned any and all sympathy for The Agency, on the show. So who are we supposed to empathize with? Will it be an FBI-centric story now? I doubt it.

If they spin this off into a Mandy-based show, and got rid of Claire (or at least relegated her to a secondary character), then I would come back for next season. Based on the contract renewals, it does not sound like that is going to happen though. So I expect to see the ratings drop severely (as in half).

The were showing Homeland in Panama,Panama at 11pm, or at 1am or at 6am. I could not believe a Show so popular was was showing here at that time. The ones that were in charged are stupid

I love the last show of Homeland. I was so impressed with this chapter. My God it was so dramatic and Brody was excellent until the final.
