“Katie” National Ratings

Based on National ratings for the week of December 2, 2013, “Katie” maintained its strong performance week to week, equaling its highest Household rating since September (since w/o 9/23/13), while matching its 2nd-highest rating this season with Women 25-54.

  • “Katie” retained 100% of its delivery from the same week last year (w/o 12/03/12) in Households (1.8 rating) and Women 25-54 (0.9 rating).

    We know Katie is a gonner. Her price is not delivering what ABC wanted.

    Still not caring about Katie. I tried watching it but couldn’t do it.

    Katie is a show I can take or leave. I have watched a few eppys here and there depending on who the guest is. But this is a strange press release for ABC.

    Don’t get the reasoning. It is clear they are ready to move on from the show. And it isn’t as if she rose in the ratings that much in the ratings. This is just weird even for ABC.

    Congrats to Katie! The Chew and Katie are the only shows in the ABC lineup worth watching.

    @Bexx:

    Yeah, right. And that’s why GH is drawing significantly higher ratings, especially in the key demos.

    Obviously, for the huge majority of viewers, it’s just the other way round: The only show in the ABC lineup that’s worth watching is GH.

    And AMC and OLTL could be in the exact same position today, if the same smart changes and improvements had been made with these shows.

    Everything that I read said that it was mutual between Katie and the network as to why there will not be a season 3. Katie was offered another contract from yahoo.. a 35 million dollar gig.
