    Woo hoo POI!

  • grey

    Could have been first. ;D LOL.

  • René

    Gfreat for The Voice :D

  • CrimTV

    Yay The Voice!!

  • CBSviewer

    NCIS is a beast :)

  • AbeCardinal

    Woo Hoo is right for PoI. The pilot of this show is just tops. Every story arc was addressed, and now, the plot thickens.

  • René

    Great*

  • eridapo

    Great news for POI…..

    When I saw the ratings this morning, I wasn’t surprised the show last night rated lower than the the last airing (Fan excuse bingo squares — Hiatus, Forgot it was On, Against the Voice, no PR (Bingo)). However as a fan I will take this upward adjustment….

  • Dan

    I just want to state, again, my general confusion on this Dads repeat.

  • CrimTV

    @Dan

    Multi cam repeat vs. Single cam repeat = Multi camp repeat win.

    You see Modern Family’s live ratings and that it doesn’t repeat too well, yet the multi-cam comedies on CBS (Big Bang Theory etc) usually get double in their repeat airings.

  • Hardline_Pro

    I love POI.

  • AbeCardinal

    @CrimTV
    Can you explain why multi-cam are more popular than single-cam comedies. I know what the technique is, but I don’t understand what makes one more popular than the other. :0)

  • Martha

    POI, Merry Christmas to you. :D

  • Beverly

    It’s nice that CBS exists so that simple people have something to watch too.

  • Samunto

    Had hoped for a bigger adjustment for The Voice but oh well…

    Multicams repeat really well. Anyone remember how well Whitney rpts were doing Fridays and we thought it would do great later.

  • Jay S.

    @AbeCardinal
    Multi-cams work better for casual viewing, which is how most people watch TV. They tell you when the jokes are so you don’t have to pay as much attention to follow them. People can just flick one of these things on and zone out.

  • Scott

    The Voice may be notably down from the Season 4 (June) finale but is still an NBC powerhouse.

  • John A

    Lmao at NCIS 20 million not even a 3.0? Still strong night for CBS overall. Cant believe Dads did that well for a repeat when originals get a 1.3. CW repeated well beating the friday night flops anyway.

  • JR

    @Dan,

    A theory: B99, New Girl, and even TMP have actual fans who tune in regularly to watch the show. All three of those shows are also frequently amongst the most DVRd (in the case of New Girl, in the overall demo, and at least by % with the other two). My guess is, those who like those shows have not only already seen whichever episodes aired last night, but if they liked the episode, probably already rewatched it on DVR as well. I’m guessing there were many more folks catching the Dads for the first time last night. So, while an ‘encore’, not necessarily a ‘repeat’ viewing for those who watched. Similarly, I checked out The Goldbergs for the first (and last) time last night.

    Another theory? This is ‘merica. Grown Ups 2 grossed 1$30 million. There is an audience for crap.

  • JR

    $130 million, that is.
