I’m confused, that doesn’t look like Kerry Underwood.

  • dave

    Your right and its Carrie

  • cc

Probably people trying to get that other remake version out of their heads. Hope Carrie was watching but she was probably still too busy praying for those who didn’t like her version.

  • Fred

Now this is a classic movie! Great singing, acting, production values etc…..

now that was the sound of music

  • hanp

I actually thought it will rise in ratings. Though I though a lot more.

You can do a lot more with months of shooting than you can do live. As good as she was/is, even Julie Andrews wouldn’t have been able to make people happy doing it live.

  • Cimmer

Idk Julie Andrews is an actress so she certainly may have done better. Plays are live every day and actors seem to pull them off.

  • Bart

Julie Andrews did LIVE theater years before she made movies. Little thing called, “My Fair Lady” ring a bell? She’s a great singer and an actress and a good one. Carrie’s a singer… period.

  • me

You’re both right but Dave it is YOU’RE, not YOUR.

  • Tyson

You’re right, Cimmer, but most people will never watch a live play (not counting ones featuring their kids or other relatives).

  • Joseph

The reason for the growth is that some people who watched the live “Sound Of Music” with Carrie Underwood wanted to compare it to this classic movie version.
