In Late-Night Metered Markets Tuesday night:

-

Fast Affiliate Ratings: These first national ratings, including demographics, are available at approximately 11 AM (ET) the day after telecast, and are released to subscribing customers daily. These data, from the National People Meter sample, are strictly time-period information, based on the normal broadcast network feed, and include all programming on the affiliated stations, sometimes including network programming, sometimes not. The figures may include stations that did not air the entire network feed, as well as local news breaks or cutaways for local coverage or other programming. Fast Affiliate ratings are not as useful for  live programs and are likely to differ significantly from the final results, because the data reflect normal broadcast feed patterns. For example, with a World Series game, Fast Affiliate Ratings would include whatever aired from 8-11PM on affiliates in the Pacific Time Zone, following the live football game, but not game coverage that begins at 5PM PT. The same would be true of Presidential debates as well as live award shows and breaking news reports.

Rating: Estimated percentage of the universe of TV households (or other specified group) tuned to a program in the average minute. Ratings are expressed as a percent.

Share (of Audience): The percent of households (or persons) using television who are tuned to a specific program, station or network in a specific area at a specific time. (See also, Rating, which represents tuning or viewing as a percent of the entire population being measured.)

Time Shifted Viewing – Program ratings for national sources are produced in three streams of data – Live, Live+Same Day (Live+SD) and Live+7 Day. Time shifted figures account for incremental viewing that takes place with DVRs. Live+Same Day (Live+SD) include viewing during the same broadcast day as the original telecast, with a cut-off of 3:00AM local time when meters transmit daily viewing to Nielsen for processing. Live+7 Day ratings include incremental viewing that takes place during the 7 days following a telecast.

    @peelit

You speak for men now? Zoey is annoying. No man likes that. Her sister is a milf.

  • peelit

Bones has a man face and has a figure like my mom. The fact that she basically plays an autustic person (poorly) and you dig that says were speaking a different language.

  • jj

I’m not saying Zoey isn’t cute. She is. Just annoying. Kinda childish. Not into that.

  • jj

I’m in my 20s and I got a thing for older women. Maturity is sexy.

  • John A

Dads got a 1.0 for a repeat recently. Obviously just a fluke. Weird that New Girl repeats that badly. You would expect it to beat the other repeats on Fox by getting at least a 0.6.

  • Raffie

Go back and check the summer reruns, New Girl always does poorly in reruns. Not that anything else did well, but it is surprising. Guess it skews younger, maybe kids in its audience have no time for reruns.

  • Dr. L

New Girl under a million! ha! the show sucks. I’m also amazed of how well Dads does. Mindy Project did better than NG, bc it’s clearly a superior show.

  • Dr. L

    FOX is @ CW levels.

  • Petey

Mindy is such a pile. So terribly unfunny. Not remotely witty either, which is disappointing since Mindy Kaling can do so much better. When the new episodes air, Mindy will flush to the bottom of Foxs ratings like always.

  • JR

Wait, do people think any of this means anything? Now THAT is funny.

  • JJF

@JR: I am thinking that they do. Why else would they make comments. “Ouch”? lol I suppose people think encores of TV shows will perform well on Christmas Eve? lol Trying to see people use any of these numbers are evidence for anything is a fine mixture of funny and sad.

  • steven

You’re a high one, Mr. Grinch.

  • ToXiX

It is rather odd that New Girl was the lowest show on Fox.
New Girl will definitely be renewed as will Brooklyn Nine Nine.
    Say bye bye to Mindy.

  • Networkman

Nice seeing a NCIS:LA repeat actually increase out of NCIS repeat. I feel that next season would be the right time to move NCIS:LA. It must be used to help another night.

  • Jon

    @ brandy….
Really? You are really going there with the lead in lead out garbage on a Christmas eve. A night where everything is being in refund and nobody is watching tv

  • Jon

    Rerun Lol not refund

  • merrrranga

that picture made me think for a second that Carrey’s Grinch did well in the ratings. ridiculous, right?

  • Jon

@jj I agree with you Emily is hotter than zooey athough I think zooey is a better actress.

  • Annie

New Girl appeals to a very young crowd, so it’s not a surprise that that group is not sitting at home watching reruns on Christmas eve.
