    Nikita’s series finale was amazing! I can’t believe that its ended. :( From the first episode of the first series i thought at Nikita was gonna be a HIT! I have no idea why CW decided to dump Nikita to Fridays after its 1st season! Number 1# reason why it was cancelled: Network airing placement sucked, and there was a lack of promotion. Consequently, the Networks never liked it from the beginning even though it had a great following, because it was edgy, smart, not just about sexiness and action and a lot of the stories could actually veritably be a lot closer to the truth. Usually shows that get people thinking,get axed. I give the writers credit for wrapping this series up with only six episodes and I’m glad the show was able to end with dignity. I love the way they left it a little open ended with Nikita and Michael chasing after the bad guy at the last minute. Maybe a movie will be in the future. Till then it’s the DVDs for me. So long Nikita, it was the best the CW had to offer!It ended on a strong note instead of withering away, and will be remembered by its many fans and discovered by new viewers for years to come.

    CW rid of loser Nikita at last. Cant wait for TCD to join it.

  • HeadlessHorseman

    @Nikitafanforever
    BINGO!

  • John A

    Lmao Yeah lack of Promotion was why Nikita failed. They promoted that loser for the first 2 years. Just be thankful CW kept it around so long not blaming them.

  • Ashley

    I’m grateful for the additional Nikita that we got. I wish they had been able to beat the number of episodes it’s name sake had and/or tried a night other than Friday when they had it leave the post-Vampire Diaries slot.

  • Marcelo

    Loser or not, it had four seasons and an ending. Just get over the hate and move on.

  • Truth

    First post in, and it’s a Nikita fanboy filling up a whole card of Fan Excuse Bingo. Is that you, Jon/Bondoel?

  • rob60990

    yes airing after the network’s number 1 show is such an AWFUL timeslot. Should have been dumped after its 1st season.

  • Jon

    @Truth
    And you call me obnoxious. I think you just proved to all here that is neutral to Nikita that its you. So because a Nikita fan writes about the show you assume its me and in such a condescending tone as well. How old are you because the post you just made here reeks of immature behavior.

  • Pepper

    Nikita ended as it lived – low rated. I’m happy that fans got closure though.

  • Truth

    Hello again, Jon/Bondoel. Yes, you’ve set a precedent with your many sock puppet accounts to troll this site with Nikita propaganda, so I wouldn’t be surprised if that was you.

  • Michael

    Nikita fans should be grateful that CW continuously renewed the show even with abysmal ratings. Fans got the closure they needed. CW cancelled many shows that didn’t even get a proper chance to succeed like “Beautiful Life.” Some shows like Secret Circle, Hellcats, Ringer that didn’t live past one season.

  • CSI fan

    Bitter fans everywhere (And I mean Nikita haters of course)
    Finally They’ll stop being so annoying with this show and change for another that I don’t care

  • a p garcia

    I did not like the finale

    @Nikitafanforever

    “I have no idea why CW decided to dump Nikita to Fridays after its 1st season!”

    There is no mystery here: The show was put on Friday nights because it had lost half of its audience in its first season and couldn’t be allowed to follow after their hot new top show, anymore. As it turned out, there was a Friday slot available and Hellcats tanked in the spring. So, Nikita got renewed and sent to Fridays, while Hellcats got dumped for real.

    I have no idea why Nikita fans continue to believe that their show would have survived if there had been no available slot on Fridays. They should be thanking their lucky stars the network allowed it to stay there so long.

    “Number 1# reason why it was cancelled: Network airing placement sucked, and there was a lack of promotion.”

    This is just an excuse Nikita fans have made up over the years to make their show look like an underdog, in absolute denial of what really happened. Nikita was promoted a *lot* in its first season and started big. It even got retooled partway through the fall when it seemed to be losing some viewers. It had every chance. Even after it went to Fridays, it still got promotion. It still had individual episode promos and it still was part of network-wide promotion. And it still tanked.

    “Consequently, the Networks never liked it from the beginning even though it had a great following, because it was edgy, smart, not just about sexiness and action and a lot of the stories could actually veritably be a lot closer to the truth.”

    More like, the network did like it, enough to give it every chance and keep it around longer than they should have. However, the show kept losing audience as people tired of it. Guess it was too “edgy” and “smart” to be loved by very many people.

    “Usually shows that get people thinking,get axed.”

    So, how does that explain the network keeping the show around for three seasons and change, even though its ratings were absolutely miserable for most of its existence?

    Maybe it didn’t actually make anybody think? Because you sure aren’t using much of what passes for logic in your post.

    “Maybe a movie will be in the future.”

    Seriously?

    “Till then it’s the DVDs for me.”

    Apparently, there aren’t too many of you, since Nikita’s DVD sales were never anything to write home about.

    “So long Nikita, it was the best the CW had to offer!”

    If that show were truly the best the CW had to offer, the network would have died years ago. Fortunately, the CW has much, much stronger shows than Nikita.

    “It ended on a strong note instead of withering away, and will be remembered by its many fans and discovered by new viewers for years to come.”

    It ended with a 0.2 and less than a million viewers. That is not a “strong note” by any definition. It is, however, the very definition of “withering away.”

    Whether it will be remembered fondly many years from now is, of course, outside of the purview of anyone here. But “many fans” is a real stretch.

  • Gleek1999

    @thesnowleopard come on! Leave @Nikitafanforever alone; yeah, she wrote somethings wrongs but don’t be that obssesive with her declarations!

  • Truth

    Gleek1999, is there a problem with setting the record straight?

  • Movie12

    Nikita haters (or haters because of low ratings?) just need to move on and get a life. Why waste time to write hate/mean comments? Not only for Nikita but for any other TV shows. Nikita was one of awesome action/thriller show from The CW that wasn’t recognized and it was really good. Hopefully people find about this show through Netflix cause it’s worth seeing.

    By the way why is Nikita a loser/bad for CW?? Who cares about low ratings (well networks cares because it’s money) only thing that matters it was some great entertainment for us Nikita fans. It SURVIVED 4 seasons and ENDED with a proper season finale. Haters deal with it.

  • Jon

    @thesnowleopard
    I see you couldn’t help yourself spewing some hate against Nikita and lies as well a show being released on blu ray means its doing good business on the homeentertainment market for the studio. Shows only released on DVD do not make the killing because studios see no need in releasing the blu ray for shows that do not sell well they then know on blu ray it would sell less then.
    Its funny when i say Supernatural has gone stale after 9 long years on the air its bashing the show but its ok for you to continue to bash and lie to make Nikita look bad. How much of a hypocrite can you even get

  • anti-bondoel

    Jon aka BONDOEL still spreading your stupid lies give it a rest your show is over and dead whine some more why dont you :D
