Press release by networks (especially ABC, but in this case NBC), are always amusing by what they don’t say.

In this case, NBC fails to mention that the Carson Daly New Year special lost to the ABC show by 1.9 points in demo and 6.4 million in total viewers.

It also fails to mention that their New Year special lost viewers from its lead in while the ABC competition gained 4.5 million viewers from its lead in as well as 1.6 demo gain (to NBC’s .2)

Failed to mention that NBC lost at the midnight time because really pissed off parents turned it off due to vagina talks… And failed to discuss the complete anger of those who did stay tuned when they COMPLETELY missed the ball drop due to gay chat and bustin on Vets! NBC owes the viewers an apology for their failure to keep it clean, their insults to Vets, and missing the whole friggin reason folks tune in– THE BALL DROP!
