Revenge is doom and dead, those ratings suck people, no competition and still crappy ratings, when they get a 2.0 or 7 and 8 mill again then let’s talk until then, shut up the ratings still are crap.

  • Billiam

Glad The Mentalist adjusted up. It is the only show I watch on Sundays now.

  • Pierre

Why Mentalist episode is marked 10.22 in the Top 25 while the final Sunday 5, the episode réunnit 9.93, which may explain

  • The 47th

That’s still massive for The Simpsons.

Shut your mouth, you sound like a bitter shrew. Go get laid or something. You have too much time on your hands commenting about a show you do not even watch 24/7. Pathetic!

jonnysboro the problem for the mentalist is there is no reason for cbs to renew it, they get no money for syndication…

Sort of like FOX had no reason to renew Fringe for a fifth season?

  • Bonnie

Yeah, that’s still amazing for the Simpsons! Made great use of it’s lead-in. :)

  • EllieMae

Sure hope The Mentalist can pull out another season – seems to be doing well since the change? I like the shift in style! Not sure why its on the likely to be cancelled list? Go Mentalist!!

  • Ryan

I really think at this point CBS should announce this as the final season of TGW or renew it for a final season. I love the show but it’s quite apparent that it’s going to keep sinking in the ratings.

fringe got to 100 episodes by having a 13 episode 5th season. mentalist will have 140 plus at the end of this yr. if wb can make cbs a great deal on the rights it may get renewed otherwise no reason for it to be renewed

Sunday’s (January 5th) episode of “The Simpsons” was one of the funniest episodes ever!

  • Joseph

I am surprised that Fox let it’s prime-time “slide” to 10:07 P.M. Eastern time.

Usually, the network joins something in progress on NFL Sundays when they have a late-afternoon game so that prime-time always ends at 10 Eastern; this to allow local Fox stations can start their late-evening local newscasts on-time.

I suspect Fox on Monday (January 6th) got angry phone calls from managers of affiliated stations criticizing the network for letting local affiliate late newscasts start late.

  • Kia

I was a huge fan of TGW but after this Sunday, forget it. Awful.are we to believe that now that Alicia has started her own firm that in a city as large as Chicago that opposing counsel will always be Lockhart/Gardner and specifically Will.I just binge watched DAMAGES and so maybe I was spoiled but to me TGW is over.

  • Tim

I gotta admit, I almost gave up on Revenge right then and there with the amnesia storyline. Glad to see it was only a one episode riff. It’s the oldest plot device in soap history and needs to be retired. Does anyone, anywhere, know anyone who’s actually ever had amnesia?

  • Patrick Ausgewahlt

That 4.6 for the Simpsons is the largest scripted rating FOX might get all year, besides maybe the football fueled The Following (I don’t know, Hawaii 5-0 only managed a 3.5 last year).

  • Kia

I would like to forget I ever was watched TGW. Does that count for amnesia? I am looking forward to switching.

  • gerry

    @ kia

L/G facing off against F/A this week was explained early on in the episode.

comparing it to a legal show that averaged 12 eps a season isn’t really fair, though i do love damages. TGW is easily the best-scripted show on network tv.

  • Rebecca

I usually don’t go out of my way to watch Jimmy Fallon or any late night shows (only online clips occasionally), but since the “best of” special popped up on hulu’s main screen last night when I meant to go straight to Bob’s Burgers’ new episode, I stayed up late and watched it. Mistake, since I should have picked a different time to watch – it kept me up, laughing. I wish him luck with the Tonight Show. I’ll probably never watch that either, but the comedy/music/impression highlights were entertaining – at least in that “best of” special. Almost done streaming BB now too, lol.

Who needs dumb old football,?! I DON”T
