Univision Ranked As The #4 Broadcast Network For The Week Among Adults 18-34

“Lo Que Vida Me Robo” Beat All of ABC and NBC’s Original Programming Thu/Fri Among Both Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34

Network Ranked #2 or Higher on Four Nights Among Both Key Adult Demos

Univision Broadcast Prime Highlights – Week of December 30, 2013 to January 5, 2014

 

  •  For the entire week (M-SU), Univision ranked as the #4 broadcast network among Adults 18-34, out-delivering CBS.  Also, Univision ranked #2 or higher versus the English-language broadcast networks (ABC, CBS, NBC, or FOX) on four nights among both Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34.

 

  • On Monday night, Univision ranked as the #1 broadcast network among Adults 18-34 and #2 among Adults 18-49, out-delivering ABC, FOX, and NBC in both demographics.  Univision’s entire primetime lineup ranked among the top 5 programs for Adults 18-34 and top 15 for Adults 18-49.  

 

  • On Tuesday night, New Year’s Eve, Univision ranked as the #4 broadcast network among Adults 18-34, out-delivering CBS and FOX.   

 

  • On Wednesday night, Univision ranked as the #1 broadcast network among both Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34.  Univision’s entire primetime lineup ranked among the top 5 programs for Adults 18-34 and top 10 for Adults 18-49.

 

  • On Thursday night, Univision ranked as the #2 broadcast network among both Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34, out-delivering ABC, FOX, and NBC in each demographic.  Univision’s entire primetime lineup ranked among the top 10 programs for Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34.

ü  Univision’s 9 p.m. novela “Lo Que Vida Me Robo” (What Life Took From Me)  was the #3 program among Adults 18-34 and #6 among Adults 18-49 on Thursday night, beating all original programming from ABC and NBC in each demographic.

 

  • On Friday night, Univision ranked as the #2 broadcast network among both Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34, out-delivering ABC, CBS, and NBC in each demographic.  Univision’s entire primetime lineup ranked among the top 10 programs for Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34.

ü   Univision’s 9 p.m. novela “Lo Que Vida Me Robo” (What Life Took From Me)  was the #1 program among Adults 18-34 and #2 among Adults 18-49 on Friday night, beating all original programming from ABC and NBC in each demographic.

 

  • On Saturday night, airing “Sabado Gigante” (Giant Saturday), Univision ranked as the #3 broadcast network among Adults 18-49 and #4 among Adults 18-34, out-delivering CBS and FOX in both demographics.  “Sabado Gigante” averaged 1.9 Million Total Viewers 2+, 735,000 Adults 18-49, and 269,000 Adults 18-34.

 

  • On Sunday night, Univision’s entire primetime lineup ranked among the top 25 programs for Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34.

 

ü  At 7 p.m., Univision aired “Aqui y Ahora” (Here and Now), which averaged 1.8 Million Total Viewers 2+, 757,000 Adults 18-49, and 278,000 Adults 18-34.

 

ü  At 8 p.m., Univision aired singing competition “Lo Que Más Quieres” (Your Biggest Dream), which averaged 1.9 Million Total Viewers 2+, 809,000 Adults 18-49, and 295,000 Adults 18-34.

ü  Following at 10 p.m., “Sal y Pimienta” (Salt and Pepper) averaged 1.9 Million Total Viewers 2+, 897,000 Adults 18-49, and 271,000 Adults 18-34.

 

  •  Univision’s 8 p.m. novela “Por Siempre Mi Amor” (Forever Yours) helped Univision rank as the #4 broadcast network for the hour (M-F) among Adults 18-34.  The novela saw increases over the prior week among Total Viewers 2+ (2.7 Million, +2%), Adults 18-49 (1.2 Million, +10%), and Adults 18-34 (592,000, +15%).

 

  • Airing in a two-hour format from 9 p.m. to 11 p.m., novela “Lo Que Vida Me Robo” (What Life Took From Me) helped Univision rank as the #1 broadcast network in the time period (M-F) among Adults 18-34 and #2 among Adults 18-49.  The novela saw increases over the prior week among Total Viewers 2+ (3.6 Million, +18%), Adults 18-49 (1.8 Million, +23%), and Adults 18-34 (867,000, +31%).
