FOX News is Most Watched Cable News Channel During Governor Chris Christie Press Conference

Thursday, the cable news channels aired New Jersey governor Chris Christie’s lengthy press conference about the Fort Lee/George Washington Bridge traffic scandal. From 11AM-12PM, when the bulk of the conference took place, FOX News was the most watched cable news channel.

Not only did FNC beat CNN and MSNBC combined in P2+ and Adults 25-54 demographic, but FNC was also up the most vs. 2013 in the demo (up 113%).  Happening Now at 11am was also the top telecast in Adults 25-54 in all of cable news yesterday.

Thurs. Jan. 9th: 11AM-12PM/ET

FOX News Channel: 1,663,000 viewers (481,000 in A25-54)

CNN: 604,000 viewers (165,000 in A25-54)

MSNBC:  494,000 viewers (110,000 in A25-54)
