ABC Friday Prime (8-11pm – 6.7 million and 1.7/5 in AD18-49):  Posting a new season high on the night, ABC won Friday among Adults 18-49 by 31% over runner-up CBS (1.7/5 vs. 1.3/4).  The Net returned to an all original line-up on the night for the first time in 4 weeks (since 12/13/13).

  • ABC’s Shark Tank (2.1/6) and 20/20 (1.7/5) stood as the Top 2 TV programs of the night in Adults 18-49, as both shows returned with new season highs.  In addition, ABC’s Last Man Standing tied as the #3 show of the night in Adults 18-49 (1.5/5) and equaled a season high.

  • Including last night, Shark Tank has delivered Friday’s Top 10 non-sports telecasts this season among Adults 18-49 in L+SD.

Last Man Standing (8-8:30pm – 7.1 million and 1.5/5 in AD18-49): Ranking #1 in the 8pm half-hour, Last Man Standing returned up 25% in Adults 18-49 from its most recent original 4 weeks ago (12/13/13). The ABC comedy drew its biggest audience this season and matched a season-best among young adults.

The Neighbors (8:30-9pm – 4.9 million and 1.1/4 in AD18-49): At 8:30pm, The Neighbors surged 22% in Adults 18-49 from its last original.  The Neighbors delivered its most-watched telecast this season and posted a best-since-premiere number with young adults.

Shark Tank (9-10pm – 7.3 million and 2.1/6 in AD18-49): Nearly doubling its lead-in at 9pm in Adults 18-49 (+91%), ABC’s Shark Tank dominated the 9 o’clock hour by 40% over its nearest competition (2.1/6 vs. 1.5/5 – CBS’ Hawaii Five-0).  The ABC unscripted series grew 5% from its most recent original in Adults 18-49 to earn its highest rating since early April – since 4/5/13.  In fact, the show matched its best-ever rating for a regular telecast.  Season to date, Shark Tank is up 15% in Adults 18-49 over the same point last year, trending as the series’ strongest season ever.

20/20 (10-11pm – 6.7 million and 1.7/5 in AD18-49): ABC’s 20/20 won the 10 o’clock hour in Adults 18-49 (1.7/5), beating CBS’ Blue Bloods by 13% and more than doubling NBC’s Dracula (+113% - 0.8/2). 20/20 reported on the pressures and sometimes deadly decisions of teenagers.  20/20 was up by double digits week to week Total Viewers (+10%), Adults 18-49 (+13%) and Adults 25-54 (+15%). The ABC newsmagazine drew its biggest audience in 10 weeks (since 11/1/13), while hitting a new season-best in Adults 18-49 and matching a season-high in Adults 25-54.

For some reason this seems to be a bad sign for The Neighbors. A best since premiere number, and ABC seems to only modestly praise The Neighbors, when other shows with that kind of jump would have been praised to the heavens.

The Neighbors is the only ABC show not to win its timeslot. Nothing to celebrate there.

This is the best week The Neighboes has since October. I knew. Renewal in May means season 4. Hehe. ABC owns it so syndication. Is a plus. :-) :-) :-)

You just so wrong.LMS is in 3rd season , so a 4 season is for sure but The Neighbors is currently in its 2nd season,so no guarantee here; and remember ABC cancels shows in its 3rd seasons.

I love The Neighbors! And The Goldbergs! And Super Fun Night! I’m afraid I am getting too attached to shows on the cancellation bubble!
