Univision Ranked #4 or Higher Versus English-Language Broadcast Networks on Four Nights Among Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34

 

 

Univision Broadcast Prime Highlights Week of January 6, 2014 to January 12, 2014

 

·         For the entire week (M-SU), Univision ranked #4 or higher versus the English-language broadcast networks (ABC, CBS, NBC, or FOX) on four nights among both Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34.

 

·         On Monday night, Univision ranked as the #2 broadcast network among both Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34, out-delivering CBS, FOX, and NBC in both demographics.  Univision’s entire primetime lineup ranked among the top 10 programs for Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34.  

 

·         On Tuesday night, Univision ranked as the #4 broadcast network among Adults 18-34, out-delivering ABC.   Univision’s entire primetime lineup ranked among the top 15 programs for Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34.  

 

·         On Wednesday night, Univision ranked as the #4 broadcast network among Adults 18-49, out-delivering FOX.  Univision’s entire primetime lineup ranked among the top 15 programs for Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34.

 

·         On Thursday night, Univision ranked as the #2 broadcast network among both Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34, out-delivering ABC, FOX, and NBC in each demographic.  Univision’s entire primetime lineup ranked among the top 15 programs for Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34.

 

·         On Friday night, Univision ranked as the #2 broadcast network among Adults 18-34 and #3 among Adults 18-49, out-delivering FOX and NBC in each demographic.  Univision’s entire primetime lineup ranked among the top 15 programs for Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34.

 

·         On Saturday night, airing “Sabado Gigante” (Giant Saturday), Univision ranked as the #4 broadcast network among Adults 18-49, out-delivering ABC.  “Sabado Gigante” averaged 1.8 Million Total Viewers 2+, 700,000 Adults 18-49, and 245,000 Adults 18-34.

 

·         On Sunday night, Univision’s entire primetime lineup ranked among the top 25 programs for Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34.

 

ü  At 7 p.m., Univision aired “Aqui y Ahora” (Here and Now), which averaged 1.6 Million Total Viewers 2+, 546,000 Adults 18-49, and 169,000 Adults 18-34.

 

ü  At 8 p.m., Univision aired a special two-hour edition of drama “Rosa de Guadalupe,” which averaged 2.0 Million Total Viewers 2+, 884,000 Adults 18-49, and 402,000 Adults 18-34.

ü  Following at 10 p.m., “Sal y Pimienta” (Salt and Pepper) averaged 1.8 Million Total Viewers 2+, 834,000 Adults 18-49, and 313,000 Adults 18-34.

 

·          Univision’s 8 p.m. novela “Por Siempre Mi Amor” (Forever Yours) helped Univision rank as the #3 broadcast network for the hour (M-F) among Adults 18-34.  The novela saw increases over the prior week among Total Viewers 2+ (3.2 Million, +21%), Adults 18-49 (1.5 Million, +21%), and Adults 18-34 (743,000, +26%).

·         Univision’s 9 p.m. novela “Lo Que Vida Me Robo” (What Life Took From Me) helped Univision rank as the #2 broadcast network for the hour (M-F) among Adults 18-34 and #3 among Adults 18-49.  The novela saw increases over the prior week among Total Viewers 2+ (4.1 Million, +12%), Adults 18-49 (2.0 Million, +9%), and Adults 18-34 (980,000, +13%).

 

·         Premiering last week, Univision’s 10 p.m. novela “Qué Pobres Tan Ricos” (The Poor, Rich Family) helped Univision rank as the #1 broadcast network for the hour (M-F) among Adults 18-34 and #3 among Adults 18-49.  The novela averaged 3.2 Million Total Viewers 2+, 1.7 Million Adults 18-49, and 778,000 Adults 18-34.
