    this is so sad.

I hope Parenthood gets renewed, for the fans. (I don’t watch it.)

    Go Community!!

  • Austin

Community, Parks and Rec, and Parenthood are some of NBC’s best shows. I really want them all to be renewed. I’m kind of surprised that Sean Saves the World and MJF haven’t been taken off schedule yet for burn off. NBC has shows they can still put in for replacement.

Wow. Beyond pathetic. Ties with a ST (R). If I were NBC, I wouldn’t issue a release daily. I’d save them for real victories, which they have plenty when TV, SNF and TBL air. If Grimm loses to H50 in demo again tonight, please refrain.

Parenthood will return with these ratings. If it stays above a 1.2. It’s remarkably consistent. Grows out of its lead-in. Is close to 100 episodes which increases the syndication value. Also it has done better on Thurs 10 than any drama since ER if memory serves.

  • Mayorofsmpleton

Any drama on NBC, that is. ;)

SNF is done for 8 months, and TV is done for a few more weeks.

    (1) Parenthood is the first NBC show in the last number of e=years not to collapse in the Thursday at 10 slot. Its ratings are really stable in the 1.2-1.3 region which is a lot higher that the typical 0.7-1.0 that the slot received in the last few years.
    (2) Ratings and viewership extremely stable. If it can keep them for the rest of the season then a sixth season, of possible 13 episodes final season is in the cards.

I love Parenthood and hope it can maintain its stable ratings for the remainder of the season.

I love Parenthood it did so much better in the Tuesday 10pm spot… but its holding its own Thursdays at 10. So like others have said if it holds that the rest of the season then they will probably get another season but short. Its a really great show.

NBC has put out some sad press releases this year, but this is one of the saddest yet.
