TO LIFETIME WITH AN ALL-NEW SEASON, FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 28
LOS ANGELES (January 22, 2014) – Emmy® Award winner and comedic icon Betty White brings her hilarious cast of elderly and unruly pranksters to Lifetime for an all-new 20-episode season of Betty White’s Off Their Rockers, beginning Friday, February 28, with two back-to-back episodes at 9pm and 9:30pm ET/PT.
With two Emmy nominations for her role as the host of the series, White and her posse have tricked, cajoled and used their age to get more than a few laughs at the expense of the American public. It’s the elderly like no one has seen them before – brash, shameless and completely “off their rockers.” This season of Betty White’s Off Their Rockers finds the mischievous crew up to their old tricks, as well as some new bits as they prey on younger, unsuspecting marks.
Beloved comedienne, television producer, host, author and an advocate for the welfare of animals, White remains one of the busiest entertainers in the business at the young age of 92. During her career of more than 60 years, White has received numerous accolades, including 20 Primetime Emmy nominations and eight Emmy wins. Her television credits range from her memorable, award-winning roles on The Mary Tyler Moore Show and Golden Girls to her current role on Hot in Cleveland. On the big screen, she has starred in The Proposal, Bringing Down the House, Lake Placid and The Story of Us, among others.
