8 O’Clock in Target Demos for the 2nd-Consecutive Week

 

“The Fosters” Records Series Highs in Total Viewers, Adults 18-34, Adults 18-49 and Viewers 12-34, and Delivers Its #2 Telecast Ever in Target Females

 

“Switched at Birth” (8:00 – 9:00 p.m.)

 

At 8 o’clock, “Switched at Birth” ranked as cable TV’s #1 scripted telecast in the hour for the 2nd-consecutive week among Adults 18-34 (548,000/0.8 rating), Women 18-34 (422,000/1.2 rating), Adults 18-49 (868,000/0.7 rating), Women 18-49 (624,000/1.0 rating), Viewers 12-34 (859,000/0.9 rating) and Females 12-34 (695,000/1.5 rating).

 

  • Based on Live + 3 ratings for last week’s winter debut, “Switched at Birth” built by double digits across all categories, climbing to 2.3 million Total Viewers (+28% – vs. 1.8 million), 1.3 million Adults 18-49 (+38% – vs. 939,000) and 1.2 million Viewers 12-34 (+25% – vs. 961,000).

 

 

“The Fosters” (9:00 – 10:00 p.m.)

 

At 9 o’clock, last summer’s breakout hit, “The Fosters” hit series highs in Total Viewers (2.1 million), Adults 18-34 (710,000/1.1 rating), Adults 18-49 (1.1 million/0.9 rating) and Viewers 12-34 (1.3 million/1.4 rating), and delivered its #2 telecast to date across Women 18-34 (580,000/1.7 rating), Women 18-49 (856,000/1.3 rating) and Females 12-34 (1.1 million/2.3 rating).

 

  • “The Fosters” ranked  as Monday’s #1 scripted TV telecast in Females 12-34, the #2 scripted cable TV telecast in Women 18-34 and TV’s #1 telecast in Female Teens (488,000/4.1 rating).

 

  •  In its time period, “The Fosters” stood as cable TV’s #1 telecast in Females 12-34 and achieved Top 5 ranks in Adults 18-34 (#4), Women 18-34 (#3), Women 18-49 (#3) and Viewers 12-34 (#2).

 

  • Week to week, “The Fosters” generated strong increases across all demos, including by 11% in Total Viewers (2.1 million vs. 1.9 million), by 12% in Adults 18-34 (710,000 vs. 635,000), by 16% in Adults 18-49 (1.1 million vs. 949,000) and by 18% in Viewers 12-34 (1.3 million vs. 1.1 million).

 

  • Based on Live + 3 ratings for last week’s winter premiere, “The Fosters” climbed by double digits across all categories, surging to 2.7 million Total Viewers (+42% – vs. 1.9 million), 1.4 million Adults 18-49 (+48% – vs. 949,000) and 1.5 million Viewers 12-34 (+36% – vs. 1.1 million).
