Fast Affiliate Ratings: These first national ratings, including demographics, are available at approximately 11 AM (ET) the day after telecast, and are released to subscribing customers daily. These data, from the National People Meter sample, are strictly time-period information, based on the normal broadcast network feed, and include all programming on the affiliated stations, sometimes including network programming, sometimes not. The figures may include stations that did not air the entire network feed, as well as local news breaks or cutaways for local coverage or other programming. Fast Affiliate ratings are not as useful for  live programs and are likely to differ significantly from the final results, because the data reflect normal broadcast feed patterns. For example, with a World Series game, Fast Affiliate Ratings would include whatever aired from 8-11PM on affiliates in the Pacific Time Zone, following the live football game, but not game coverage that begins at 5PM PT. The same would be true of Presidential debates as well as live award shows and breaking news reports.

Rating: Estimated percentage of the universe of TV households (or other specified group) tuned to a program in the average minute. Ratings are expressed as a percent.

Share (of Audience): The percent of households (or persons) using television who are tuned to a specific program, station or network in a specific area at a specific time. (See also, Rating, which represents tuning or viewing as a percent of the entire population being measured.)

Time Shifted Viewing – Program ratings for national sources are produced in three streams of data – Live, Live+Same Day (Live+SD) and Live+7 Day. Time shifted figures account for incremental viewing that takes place with DVRs. Live+Same Day (Live+SD) include viewing during the same broadcast day as the original telecast, with a cut-off of 3:00AM local time when meters transmit daily viewing to Nielsen for processing. Live+7 Day ratings include incremental viewing that takes place during the 7 days following a telecast.

  • Jack

    Go The Originals!!!!! :D

  • DSC

not a single show cracked a 2.0. not a single one. none!

  • Ryan

Wow Brookyln nine nine higher than New Girl? Never thought I’d see the day. At least not this season. Dads and Mindy still battling it out

  • Carl

@Mae, looks like some of that might have been basketball preemption.

  • Omega

Being a Deschenal fan, I can not deny that B-99 is outperforming New Girl. I just hope the reason why NewGirl is down is not due to them adding another African American on the show. Personaly, I feel that it is hitting on all cylinders.

  • Dante

loool originals beat agents. idc if it was a repeat. GO originals!! and is that the highest viewership of the season for supernatural?? GO CW!!!! cant wait for the 100th episode of TVD!!!!!!!!!!

  • Samuel

B99 and TMP both rose the same % yet only one was mentioned in the headline?

  • Nancy

    Hell Yes Mindy!

  • Jay

Fine for CF. Great episode. Decent ratings for an overall bad TV night. He’ll, no one got even a 2 rating! At least CF is a lock for season three.

  • Christian

    Did Fox get pre-empted anywhere?

  • Ultima

    @k:Alex
Haha, New Girl isn’t Fox #1 comedy any more.

    It hasn’t been for a long time…

  • Brad

    B99 beat New girl. Damn.

Omega, LOL. Yep, another black guy and people tune out.

  • Michelle

Glad to see B99, New Girl and Mindy rise. I’d especially love for B99 to continue to grow, but I have to believe last night’s ratings gains are a combination of the competition airing re-runs and a good portion of the east coast being snowed in.

  • TT

Happy for Supernatural and TO! I don’t want to see them drop but I see the red up top.
Why did Tricia Helfer waste her TV comeback talent on Killer Women? Ugh. I was so glad to see her returning to TV but couldn’t stand this show.
When Chicago Fire settles into a small, core group of characters instead of spreading the canvas thin with choppy stories, I’ll return to watching. For Jeff Hephner alone. I won’t hate on it like Dante, who seems to be very obnoxious.

  • David James

Very nice for Brooklyn Nine-Nine, New Girl and The Mindy Project. All 3 shows deserved those ratings last night. The Goldbergs and Trophy Wife are trying their best even with the bad scheduling but it’s very difficult to gain any momentum without SHIELD.

  • Edward

Correct, Jay. CF is a lock for season three. The female demos the show gets are huge.

  • Michele

Dante, you are my favorite. I have no idea why you hate Chicago Fire so much. I have never watched the show and have no opinion of it. I just read the comments on Wednesday morning to see what you have to say.

Did they fire you off that show, what happened?

  • Dante

    @Jay

Don’t count on Chicago MISfre or Chicago PUHd being locks for third and season seconds, respectively. The latter still hasn’t found the floor and the former could return that last week of Feb and pull low 1′s through May. Neither is a lock.

  • Wayneosworld

Brooklyn Nine Nine and New Girl look solid. With the Super Bowl exposure, they are both locked for renewal next season. What FOX needs is a good 8pm lead-in to New Girl and Nine Nine at 9 & 9:30pm EST.

  • Pat

Does Dante actually think people care what he says about the Chicago franchise with his horrible treats. The show is bringing in the most viewers on a weds night last time I checked 7 million viewers is enough for a show to warrant success especially with the other shows barely getting 1-3 mill. Dante do you even watch the Chicago franchise cause you obviously don’t have one inch of common sense towards a realistic show. If people didn’t like the show millions wouldn’t tune in every week to make it a success idiot
