    @Ryan, by now CW knows that nothing after VD will do really well.Plus, VD is down this season.Second, CW can only premiere five new shows a season.Nikitas ended & if you cancel ,CD,BatB,TTP,Reign,,that’s more than half their lineup.What if Star-Crossed & The 100 flop?Would you cancel all of CD,BatB,Reign,Nikita,TTP,SC,The 100, then not be able to afford to put on enough new shows?No network cancels everything,every low rated show or cancels even half thier lineup.

  • Charmed

    @Shepherd why are you always picking on TCD? It actually has a better average than BATB, and is currently one tenth behind TTP and two tenths behind Reign, which isn’t bad considering

  • CBSviewer

    Reign is still getting Renewed but will move to Monday next season.

    The Crazy Ones and The Millers had exactle the same retention. I don’t know if it’s a good or a bad news for them.

  • Joe

    Big Bang repeat with more viewers than a new Idol. Wow….

  • Steven

    TVD may have adjusted up but this season still sucks. Really the last two season. The show is just a shell of its first 3 great seasons.

    Also add me as a person that was a little glad that Reign adjusted down. I’m really started to enjoy TTP. I think the show has so much potential to be awesome I can’t help but watch. Although i have no illusion that it will even be renewed. Even though Reign does have the better lead in thus the extra tenth boost it seems to get in demo it also has the buzz. The CW likes Buzz. So when both Star Crossed and The 100 tank which is likely I think Regin might get the renewal. TBH… I’d be sad but I would love to See The CW cancel all 4 along with B&B and TCD. It would be drastic but they could promote and overhaul of the network. Maybe bring notice to the network again. Get away from the Teen girl’s network image it still has.

  • Charmed

    Reign isn’t growing, but it’s not falling either. It’s actually holding up quite well.

  • Shepherd

    @tedtalks

    Secret Circle first episode back from holiday hiatus was 2.05m and .08 in demo

    You can’t compare ratings from previous seasons on a 1:1 basis; Gunsmoke Rule. But since you mentioned TSC; it’s spring average fell 29% from it’s fall average. The only CW freshman that I know of that did worse was Ringer which fell ~40% in the spring. If Reign’s average falls to 0.4 or so you may have an argument.

  • Bluebells

    lol @Steven
    The TTP and Reign thing is so pointless. They are both failures for now. And Reign is more like VD as in its dark, not your typical girlyish CW show. Not that girly is a bad thing.

  • HeadlessHorseman

    @Shepherd
    Yeah, I thought about that right after I posted my comment. You’re right though, if SC and T100 are both breakout hits and Reign remains stable, then the CW will definitely try to find places for all 3 shows.

  • Crystal

    @CBS Veiwer….

    Do you really think they would move Reign to Mondays? That is a week spot in their week right now. That fixed their tuesdays. Wednesdays are okay…. obviously they need to improve the 9pm slot. Thursday is the same problem as Wednesday. How is a show that manages on average a .6 and if lucky a .7 going to help their pathetic Monday night?
    Then again the only other night would be to ship it to Fridays which is a death sentence. However, I guess if The 100 or Star Crossed doesn’t succeed they really don’t have any other options.

  • Brandy

    Too bad Reign adjusted down

  • tedtalks

    @Shepherd but you can compare TVBTN index rating, which is against the cw network average. The final index for CW spring had TSC at .99 and Reign was already at .88 in the Fall

    numbers don’t lie, and they can be compared, i’m not even comparing TSC Fall’s inflated numbers but winter/spring only

    I can’t predict Reign future ratings, just current

  • Bluebells

    I see teen shows like teen wolf, PLL and even the fosters flourish. But i can only ask myself what did Reign do wrong? Supernatural stuff…its got it. Sword fights…pinned down. Adventure…oh yes!

  • Shepherd

    @tedtalks

    People may not remember but TSC was always .7 or higher until the 18th episode

    If you’re going to try and make a point, you could at least not pull numbers from your ass. Big surprise, but everyone here actually has internet access.

    TSC: e.12-0.7, e.13-0.7, e.15-0.7, 16-0.7, 17-0.7, 18-0.6, e.19-21- 0.5,

  • HalCapone

    @Ultima
    meant Winter instead, not Fall

  • tedtalks

    @Shepherd you proved my point, you cut off the finale which adjusted up to .6

  • Shepherd

    @Charmed

    why are you always picking on TCD? It actually has a better average than BATB, and is currently one tenth behind TTP and two tenths behind Reign, which isn’t bad considering

    I try not to, but as far as I’m concerned; BaTB doesn’t even exist anymore in terms of renewal. That makes TCD the lowest rated show on the CW with people who still believe it has a chance at renewal. As you know, I disagree with that, but that happens to make it a good reference point for drawing comparisons. Comparing shows to BaTB would be like comparing ABC shows to The Assets and saying they are performing great.

    I’d disagree that its “only 0.1 behind TTP and 0.2 behind Reign”, but that’s because I put more weight on averages than I do single episode performances.

    What i have learnt from this web page:
    1. The PCA’s don’t mean ****
    2. When something is too good to be true, its too good to be true.

  • Brandy

    @Steven it’s been going away from the “teen girl network image” for a little while.This season,Reign is the only “teen girl show” picked up.The 100,TTP,TO,SC are all genre shows.However,Pedowitz did say reccently “Therell come a time when we’re over saturated with genre and will move back to family shows”.Why don’t you just watch what shows you like on CW and enjoy them instead of /worryingcomplaint about its “teen girl network image”?For instance,CBS has the crime drama cop show /old people network image,yet that dosent stop me from watching a couple of its comidies and saying it needs to change it’s image.

  • tedtalks

    @Brandy i don’t see any guys checking out Star-Crossed based on marketing or the title of show alone…it looks like another romance like BatB
