You can see TV ratings from other recent Overnight ratings reports here.

Fast Affiliate Ratings: These first national ratings, including demographics, are available at approximately 11 AM (ET) the day after telecast, and are released to subscribing customers daily. These data, from the National People Meter sample, are strictly time-period information, based on the normal broadcast network feed, and include all programming on the affiliated stations, sometimes including network programming, sometimes not. The figures may include stations that did not air the entire network feed, as well as local news breaks or cutaways for local coverage or other programming. Fast Affiliate ratings are not as useful for live programs and are likely to differ significantly from the final results, because the data reflect normal broadcast feed patterns. For example, with a World Series game, Fast Affiliate Ratings would include whatever aired from 8-11PM on affiliates in the Pacific Time Zone, following the live football game, but not game coverage that begins at 5PM PT. The same would be true of Presidential debates as well as live award shows and breaking news reports.

Rating: Estimated percentage of the universe of TV households (or other specified group) tuned to a program in the average minute. Ratings are expressed as a percent.

Share (of Audience): The percent of households (or persons) using television who are tuned to a specific program, station or network in a specific area at a specific time. (See also, Rating, which represents tuning or viewing as a percent of the entire population being measured.)
Time Shifted Viewing – Program ratings for national sources are produced in three streams of data – Live, Live+Same Day (Live+SD) and Live+7 Day. Time shifted figures account for incremental viewing that takes place with DVRs. Live+Same Day (Live+SD) include viewing during the same broadcast day as the original telecast, with a cut-off of 3:00AM local time when meters transmit daily viewing to Nielsen for processing. Live+7 Day ratings include incremental viewing that takes place during the 7 days following a telecast.

I turned Rake off after 25 minutes and went over to Netflix for the rest of the night. What an abysmally boring show.

  • Pedro

I was hoping TVD’s 100th episode would be higher. I can see it coming back to 0.9 at the end of the season
Also, I’m pretty sure Reign wasn’t a repeat last night. a 0.7 is great! Managed to tie MJFS and SSTW

  • Ultima

    @Sara Bibel
    9:00 CBS The Crazy Ones – R
    9:30 CBS Two and a Half Men – R

CBS aired a second repeat of The Big Bang Theory at 9:00pm and The Crazy Ones at 9:30pm.

  • Rene

Community and Parks so steady. I’m happy for that.

  • KMS53

Wow, Rake. I knew it wouldn’t be great, but wow.

  • Steph

Good for Reign! I’m glad TVD went up, but as a viewer since day one, it’s just gotten horrible. It should be thankful to be able to keep above a 1.0. For a 100th episode, it sucked.

  • nerv

I think that 2.4 is supposed to be for Rake. The Millers got a 1.9 so it’s crazy that TCO gets a higher rating considering its a repeat.

  • grey

I predicted a 2.0 for “Rake.” 1.7. Hmm. Maybe too much hype. I gave it a try but I have to admit I fell asleep about a third of the way through. I may give it another shot next week *if* I remember to watch it. What I saw before drifting off didn’t exactly rock my world. It’s not a bd show, it’s actually very good compared to most new stuff we’ve been offered, but … I don’t know. Maybe I was too tired. Eh.

  • TimsDale4ever

Michael and Sean just need to give up already. Sean’s show last night was beyond pathetic. The ratings justify it. Can’t speak for Michael’s as I don’t watch. Was expecting so much more out of Sean’s show and have stuck around for awhile hoping it would get better. IT HASN’T!

  • Bradley

    @ Chris J

I expect both on the fall schedule. Or at least one to serve as the “Mike & Molly” of NBC and replace something that fails by November of next year. NBC has no other comedy to lean on as of now.

  • Roger

Reign was new yesterday, and did great in the ratings!

  • Gabriel

NBC should put HGN on the 9 pm timeslot until this season is over

  • gerry

i like seeing parenthood continuing to make a case for it’s renewal. nice numbers for pr and comm as well.

the taste didn’t do great, but its performing better than alot of abc. and its cheap. it will get renewed until abc is on better ground with their scripted, i think.

good for tvd, though i was hoping it would be higher since it was the 100th. though, i didn’t watch it live, so i guess not everyone else did either.

  • Mbento

Rake not good with that lead in from idol but it’s not bad at all… lets see how it goes. With Greys returning if it survives below 1 it could be renewed.

  • HeadlessHorseman

Shouldn’t the headline say ‘Soft Start for Rake’?

  • Lynch

    Typos all around 0_o

  • Trevor Lloyd

The Vampire Diaries was awful last night! Really poor for a 100th episode. Very very disappointed.

  • Carl

Pretty sure TVD will adjust up.

I haven’t liked anything Greg Kinnear has done since he left Talk Soup. He’s never been popular in spite of a lot of push.

  • Pedro

TVD usually adjusts up in finals so I’m counting on it.

  • Rene

So funny that, even with the switch schedule, Sean beats Michael Show in total viewers.
