The Following premieres its second episode in its regular timeslot tonight after its first episode earned a blockbuster 4.4 adults 18-49 rating last week, following the NFC Championship. Can The Following hold on to some of is Football-boosted viewers? Or is a big slide in order? Make your predictions below and tell us your thoughts in the comments!

Big slide for sure. 2.6-3.2 is such a big window. It’s almost assuredly falling in that range.

    3 minimum !

  • AllOfHerTw!st

    I would say around a 3.0.

  • HeadlessHorseman

The second half hour last week was a 3.6. I feel that’s a better representation of its actual fan base. I’m guessing a 3.2

  • Scot

2.8, tops. I know it had a huge premiere, but that was on Sunday and it’s numbers were massively inflated due to football. I think it will pull about the same numbers on Monday this year as it did last year.

  • Jami

Oh with no competition except CBS an easy 3.0 who cares other than FOX. The Following, I tried to follow it, to much like the Scream movies for me. Scream 1 the best. Same old material just recycled from his other movies.

It’ll remain steadiness at 3.0ish. The show has a big core following…

  • Matt M.

Probably somewhere inbetween a 2.7-3.0. Going with a 2.9 and around 8.7-9.0 million viewers.

    The Bachelor: 2.3 / 7.0 mil. viewers
    Castle: 2.0 / 9.0 mil. viewers

    The Following: 2.9 / 8.9 million viewers

Hollywood Game Night: 1.2 / 3.9 mil. viewers
Hollywood Game Night: 1.4 / 4.3 mil. viewers
    The Blacklist: 2.3 / 8.8 mil. viewers

How I Met Your Mother: 3,2 / 8.9 mil. viewers
    2 Broke Girls: 2.5 / 8.6 mil. viewers
    Mike & Molly: 2.2 / 8.4 mil. viewers
    MOM: 2.0 / 8.0 mil. viewers

The 3 shows I’m watching tonight are HIMYM, Following, and Blacklist, so I’ll guess them.

HIMYM – 3.3 (It’s how the mother meets Ted so I expect an uptick)
Following – 3.1 (3.6 in last half hour is closer to audience so, 3.1 seems it)
Blacklist – 2.3 (Should stay solid where it is)

  • NBC Fan

    The Bachelor-2.3

    How I Met Your Mother-3.4
    2 Broke Girls-2.8
    Mike & Molly-2.2

    The Following-2.8

    Hollywood Game Night-1.3
    Hollywood Game Night-1.5
    The Blacklist-2.3

    2.5 or lower. Positive

  • Paul

High 2’s. And I wouldn’t deem that a big slide. Kind of unfair.

  • California

How I Met Your Mother: 3.0
    2 Broke Girls: 2.6
    Mike & Molly: 2.2
    Mom: 1.9

    The Following: 2.7-3.1 (2.7 probably)

    The Blacklist: 2.4

Will probably do better than normal with cold weather hitting so much of country today. Will be close to 3.0. Would’ve been better to place a new Bones (S) at 8/7 rather than repeat the “preview” episode.

I know it will most likely do well but I hope it crashes and gets cancelled. Terrible show.

  • gigi

Guess it will do sub-3.0, maybe even a 3.0 :) but I heard no good word about the season two premiere.

Hope HIMIM rises for its 200th episode. Haven’t (ever) watched the Grammys, but I hope CBS promoted that jubilee.
