CBS Sweeps Monday

 

            CBS's Monday lineup posted big week-to-week increases with its entire comedy block posting season highs in viewers and/or key demographics, leading the Network to a nightly win, according to Nielsen preliminary live plus same day ratings for Jan. 27.

 

How I Met Your Mother was first in viewers (10.70m), adults 25-54 (4.2/10), adults 18-49 (3.8/11) and adults 18-34 (3.7/11).  How I Met Your Mother posted its best deliveries in adults 25-54 and adults 18-49 since Feb. 4, 2013 (the day after Super Bowl XLVII), its best adults 18-34 rating since Sept. 23, 2013 (season premiere) and its largest audience since Dec. 5, 2011.

 

2 Broke Girls was first in viewers (9.93m), adults 25-54 (4.0/09) and adults 18-49 (3.0/08).  2 Broke Girls posted its best deliveries in viewers and adults 25-54 since Feb. 25, 2013 and best adults 18-49 rating since May 13, 2013 (season finale).

 

MIKE & MOLLY was first in viewers (10.73m) and adults 25-54 (3.8/09) and was second in adults 18-49 (2.6/07).  MIKE & MOLLY posted its best adults 25-54 rating since March 25, 2013, its best adults 18-49 rating since Nov. 4, 2013 (season premiere) and its largest audience since Feb. 4, 2013 (the day after Super Bowl XLVII).

 

MOM was first in viewers (9.48m) and adults 25-54 (3.2/07) and was second in adults 18-49 (2.4/06).  MOM posted its largest audience, matched its series high in adults 25-54 and posted its best adults 18-49 rating since its series premiere.

 

At 10:00 PM, INTELLIGENCE posted Monday highs in viewers (6.77m), adults 18-49 (1.5/04) and adults 25-54 (2.1/05).

 

For the night, CBS was first in viewers (9.06m), adults 25-54 (3.2/08) and adults 18-49 (2.5/07).  CBS posted its best delivery in viewers since April 8, 2013, best adults 25-54 and adults 18-49 ratings since Sept. 23, 2013 (premiere week Monday).

    Intelligence was okay, but the older Town Car limo they used (instead of a more believable modern Cadillac) sort of tested my suspension of disbelief.
