Univision’s Novela “Qué Pobres Tan Ricos” Helped Network Rank #2 Among Adults 18-34 in M-F 10 p.m. Hour, Out-performing ABC and CBS

 

Univision Broadcast Prime Highlights - Week of January 20, 2014 to January 26, 2014

 

·          For the entire week (M-SU), Univision ranked #4 or higher versus the English-language broadcast networks (ABC, CBS, NBC, or FOX) on six nights among Adults 18-34.

 

·         On Monday night, Univision ranked as the #4 broadcast network among Adults 18-34, out-delivering NBC.  Univision’s entire primetime lineup ranked among the top 15 programs for Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34.  

 

·         On Tuesday night, Univision ranked as the #3 broadcast network among Adults 18-34 and #4 among Adults 18-49, out-delivering ABC in each demographic.   Univision’s entire primetime lineup ranked among the top 15 programs for Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34.  

 

·         On Wednesday night, Univision ranked as the #4 broadcast network among Adults 18-34, out-delivering CBS.  Univision’s entire primetime lineup ranked among the top 15 programs for Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34.

 

·         On Thursday night, Univision ranked as the #2 broadcast network among Adults 18-34 and #3 among Adults 18-49, out-delivering ABC and NBC in each demographic.  Univision’s entire primetime lineup ranked among the top 20 programs for Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34.

 

·         On Friday night, Univision ranked as the #2 broadcast network among Adults 18-34 and #4 among Adults 18-49, out-delivering CBS in each demographic.  Univision’s entire primetime lineup ranked among the top 15 programs for Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34.

 

·         On Saturday night, airing “Sabado Gigante” (Giant Saturday), Univision ranked as the #4 broadcast network among Adults 18-34, out-delivering ABC.  “Sabado Gigante” averaged 1.8 Million Total Viewers 2+, 678,000 Adults 18-49, and 259,000 Adults 18-34.

 

·         On Sunday night, Univision’s entire primetime lineup ranked among the top 20 programs for Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34.

 

ü  At 7 p.m., Univision aired “Aqui y Ahora” (Here and Now), which saw increases over the prior week among Total Viewers 2+ (1.9 Million, +27%), Adults 18-49 (658,000, +27%), and Adults 18-34 (209,000, +42%).

 

ü  At 8 p.m., to celebrate the 20th anniversary of “Primer Impacto,” Univision aired the retrospective “Mas Alla Del Impacto.” The special averaged 1.9 Million Total Viewers 2+, 903,000 Adults 18-49, and 325,000 Adults 18-34.

ü  Following at 10 p.m., “Sal y Pimienta” (Salt and Pepper) saw increases over the prior week among Total Viewers 2+ (1.7 Million, +7%), Adults 18-49 (771,000, +1%), and Adults 18-34 (260,000, +36%).

 

·          Univision’s 8 p.m. novela “Por Siempre Mi Amor” (Forever Yours) averaged 2.9 Million Total Viewers 2+, 1.3 Million Adults 18-49, and 620,000 Adults 18-34.

 

·         Univision’s 9 p.m. novela “Lo Que Vida Me Robo” (What Life Took From Me) helped Univision rank as the #3 broadcast network for the hour (M-F) among Adults 18-34 and #4 among Adults 18-49.  The novela saw increases over the prior week among Total Viewers 2+ (4.1 Million, +44%), Adults 18-49 (2.1 Million, +58%), and Adults 18-34 (996,000, +58%).

 

·         Univision’s 10 p.m. novela “Qué Pobres Tan Ricos” (The Poor, Rich Family) helped Univision rank as the #2 broadcast network for the hour (M-F) among Adults 18-34 and #3 among Adults 18-49.  The novela saw increases over the prior week among Total Viewers 2+ (3.1 Million, +8%), Adults 18-49 (1.7 Million, +11%), and Adults 18-34 (744,000, +3%).
