“Over the course of nine seasons, BONES has grown from a hit crime procedural into a beloved pillar of our lineup that resonates with fans in a way that only the best of shows can,” said Reilly. “Our viewers have embraced Emily, David and the entire cast and characters of BONES as their very own, and I think they are going to love what Hart Hanson and Stephen Nathan have planned for Season 10!”

The fan-favorite series, starring Emily Deschanel as forensic anthropologist TEMPERANCE BRENNAN and David Boreanaz as FBI Special Agent SEELEY BOOTH, will reach its milestone 200th episode during the upcoming 2014-15 season.

    Strange move considering it’s doing so well on Friday.

  • ATXCountry

    Thank you Fox for finally moving this show back where it belongs. Bones earned better ratings last Friday than almost every Non-AI show last week.

    What do you make of “ALMOST HUMAN comes to a dramatic conclusion?” Does that mean series finale?

  • John A

    Leave it on Friday. I mean a 1.8 on a friday is great but it does like a 2.2 on monday which isnt amazing.

  • Andrew21

    It was the #1 scripted show on friday, and five days later they change it… I really don’t get it… and also, there goes enlisted’s only chance of getting renewed

  • feinn

    Almost Human de facto canceled

  • Oliver

    @feinn
    How do you figure that? It was a mid-season show with 13 episodes ordered and Fox are airing 13 episodes.

  • feinn

    @Andrew21 Following doing poor so bones to help

  • Poppy

    Well, a happy Bones fan am I, one more year of Booth and Brennan and team. woot!!

  • CBSviewer

    Hope it’s not the final season !

  • feinn

    @Oliver Almost Human was a fall show, not midseason. No additional episodes = cancelled

  • JJ

    You know I don’t get the comments, people complained about Bones moving to Fridays and now annoyed about it moving to Mondays. Just be happy it got a 10th season and don’t look a gift horse in the mouth haha.

  • Anthony

    @feinn

    Sleepy Hollow was renewed and it was in the fall with 13 episodes. So how does that make Almost Human cancelled?

  • feinn

    @Anthony Exactly, Fox doesnt announce cancellations, they don’t order more

  • Andrew21

    @feinn
    I guess, I just hope enlisted rises a little on friday and can later maintain it

  • Sammy01

    Really happy for Bones. Very few shows make 10 seasons. As well as Bones is doing on Friday, Fox’s Monday is falling apart right now. I’m sure Fox would rather try and keep competitive Monday than have 1 good hour Friday.

    I guess Fox can be comfortable in the knowledge they can try new shows on Monday and Bones will do great on Friday but if things don’t go to plan Mondays then Bones can fill back in.

    I expect similar back and forth next year for Bones as Fox try and make something else work on Monday.

  • Greg

    I like this. It’s a good solution to Mondays, and much better than what I thought FOX was going to do (premiere a new season of Hell’s Kitchen on Mondays). Bones is a great lead-in for The Following, and I think what killed Kitchen Nightmares last season was FOX’s bad scheduling of the show and tough competition. Now that both Last Man Standing and Undercover Boss aren’t rating as high as they did last season, Kitchen Nightmares has a good chance of improving.

  • Nick

    Probably gonna pair it with the Following assuming that gets renewed.

  • Oliver

    I can still see Fox announcing Rake moving to Friday and Enlisted and Surviving Jack airing at 9 on Thursday. They just need to ensure Rake is dead before they move it.

  • Jo

    Anthony he figures that it is de factor cancled because AH unlike SH is not a show that only produces 13 episode seasons like SH, Following (15 episodes) and Hanibal. AH is one you have been running around expecting a pic up order on… if you want other hints look at the fact that it airs the rest of the episodes while every other show even the kick ass big top hits ones go on hiatus through Feb due to OL. AH is getting episodes burnt off…

    and to why move Bones back. yes it was doing wonderful on Friday. but my guess Fox saw there was still too much life in it since it was even moved to Friday doing well compared to the rest of their shows and they could use the alright ratings better at other days of the week where they were in trouble… and since they pushed back gang related to summer and Rake and AH do not seem like the hits they had hoped, and Glee is doing way more horrible than they expected with the two seasons renewal they pulled Bones from Friday back on monday needing the 2.0 they could get there… putting another faithful reality on Friday where they can still get an okay thing out of that…

    No final season announcement?
