President Obama’s State of the Union Address Draws 33.3 Million; Lowest in 14 Years (Since 2000)

33.3 million people tuned in to President Obama’s 2014 State of the Union Address, which is the lowest total viewership since 2000.

These numbers include  15 cable and broadcast networks: FOX, ABC, CBS, NBC, PBS, Azteca, Univision, MundoFox, CNBC, CNN, Fox Business, Fox News Channel, MSNBC, Current, Centric and Galavision.

Last year, the State of the Union address averaged 33.5 million total viewers — and was previously the smallest audience for the event since 2000.
