You can see TV ratings from other recent Overnight ratings reports here.

Fast Affiliate Ratings: These first national ratings, including demographics, are available at approximately 11 AM (ET) the day after telecast, and are released to subscribing customers daily. These data, from the National People Meter sample, are strictly time-period information, based on the normal broadcast network feed, and include all programming on the affiliated stations, sometimes including network programming, sometimes not. The figures may include stations that did not air the entire network feed, as well as local news breaks or cutaways for local coverage or other programming. Fast Affiliate ratings are not as useful for live programs and are likely to differ significantly from the final results, because the data reflect normal broadcast feed patterns. For example, with a World Series game, Fast Affiliate Ratings would include whatever aired from 8-11PM on affiliates in the Pacific Time Zone, following the live football game, but not game coverage that begins at 5PM PT. The same would be true of Presidential debates as well as live award shows and breaking news reports.

Rating: Estimated percentage of the universe of TV households (or other specified group) tuned to a program in the average minute. Ratings are expressed as a percent.

Share (of Audience): The percent of households (or persons) using television who are tuned to a specific program, station or network in a specific area at a specific time. (See also, Rating, which represents tuning or viewing as a percent of the entire population being measured.)
Time Shifted Viewing – Program ratings for national sources are produced in three streams of data – Live, Live+Same Day (Live+SD) and Live+7 Day. Time shifted figures account for incremental viewing that takes place with DVRs. Live+Same Day (Live+SD) include viewing during the same broadcast day as the original telecast, with a cut-off of 3:00AM local time when meters transmit daily viewing to Nielsen for processing. Live+7 Day ratings include incremental viewing that takes place during the 7 days following a telecast.

Yeah I gave up on TVD weeks ago. I’ll catch up when Netflix premieres S5 but the show has gotten beyond bad.

  • CBSviewers

    @ Dan

    Plus TCO has worse retention

The Millers got a 2.8 out of a 5.1. That is a terrible retention !

It should be expected to pull a 2.7. A 1.9 is terrible.

    Seriously ?

  • americangame

I don’t see The Taste lasting after this season. That number is terrible even for reality TV standards.

  • Mr. Schedule

    Fingers cross for Reign

  • Dan

@Carl – TVD will be adjusted up likely to a 1.1 Reign may be adjusted down to a .6. happens a lot

As for Parks, if you call a 1.2 holding up then I guess. It’s still safe though, Community too.

Elementary is doing great although next season I expect to see it moved to Sundays.

  • Carmen

Overall, it seems to have been a relatively slow night all around.

  • Eve

Community sure does steady at 8pm but I’m sure that Hollywood Game Night or some SNL special would do better. They need to be moved at 9pm.

  • Poppy

Sorry, TBBT is unwatchable since they made the “girls” the focus of the series. Give me more Sheldon and the boys, pleeeeze.

  • Steven

TBBT is still a beast. Reign holding steady even with a crap night for TVD in ratings. Rake is just a disappointment especially after Idol.

  • Brandy

Yay Reign at 0.7.TP will crash on Mon.Plus,I doubt both Reign & TTP could/will be renewed even if both midseason shows flop.Hope Reign keeps 0.7 Good for BBT.

  • Shiro

“TVD will be adjusted up likely to a 1.1 Reign may be adjusted down to a .6. happens a lot”

what are you talking about?? Reign adjust down a lot?? its have been only 2 times Reign adjust down. One because of Pre-em (ep 6) and the other one was last week.

  • Poppy

Oh my, Poor Rake, Fox better be looking hard and long at Backstrom. Another grumpy cop, um, sure, if you say so….

  • eelna

Did expect a bigger drop for Reign, since everyone talked bad about the last episode. Still incredibly well, next weeks episode will be up, I suppose. Maybe, if we’re lucky, TTP and Reign can be renewed.

ABC not good at all w/ 1.0 for night (though ST-R)

    CW down but not out

NBC up 9-11 w/ SNL over usual fare

AI cont’s to slide for FOX & Rake on a slippery slope as well

CBS good @ 8:00 & 10:00 but TCO & 2.5M under 2.0, though Mom may now be looking better

  • Tom

Even if Reign is adjusted down, it’s gonna be hard for TTP to keep a 0.6-0.7 when it moves to Mondays, whereas Reign will have the benefit of staying put.

  • HONM

NOOOOO tvd!!! it needs to adjust up. a big fall since last episode :( Is it lower than originals in viwership?

  • Fuzzynutz

ROB was cancelled with a 2.6, and SH&T my dad says was cancelled with 10 million viewers.

Plus MOM is outperforming the crazy ones…

Does anyone see this playing out well for the crazy ones?

I am hoping so, but expect it not to make it

  • Dan

@CBS Viewer – I meant TCO has worse retention than Mom out of M&M. What other new show has consistently (in their 13th episode) still broken a 3.0 out of Big Bang? HTBAG, Bleep My Dad Says, Rob, all slipped to under a 3.0 out of Big Bsbgs mammouth 5.0. Two and a Half Men and Rules of Engagement are the only shows to consistently draw over a 3.0. Rules is dead and Men will soon be.

No show can do as well or replicate a Big Bang success, nothing, it can’t be done. If the closest is The Millers with a 2.8, you would think TCO could at least hold to a 2.0. A 2.8 is acceptable to CBS, a 1.9
Isn’t. And TCO has no competition. Low rated SNL, Rake, and The Taste.

  • senor chang

Community is like the Revolution of NBC comedy. Crazy stable.

  • Dan S

Oh boy Rake is getting um raked over the coals. Perhaps Fox should rethink their rejiggered lineup. Keep Glee on Thur & shuffle Rake to Fri. Move Enlisted & Hope to Tues & keep their 2hr comedy block.
