During January 2014, ABC Family stood as cable TV’s most-tweeted network (4,543,800), generating nearly 1 million more tweets than #2, MTV (vs. 3,520,974), and over 2 million more tweets than the CW (vs. 2,072,376).

 

The tweet-leader each Tuesday throughout the month, “Pretty Little Liars” stood as the month’s #1 most-tweeted TV series, generating 3,300,376 million Tweets, by over 806,000 unique users, amassing more than 1 million additional tweets than the #2 series, MTV’s “Teen Wolf” (2,452,616).

 

The January 14 winter premiere of “Pretty Little Liars” became the #1 most-tweeted season premiere on record (1,335,406) – and the month’s #1 most-tweeted TV series telecast – giving ABC Family’s the Top 5 most-tweeted series telecasts in TV history.

 

 

 

Impressively, critical darling “The Fosters” ranked among the month’s Top 10 most-tweeted TV series for the first time since its June 2013 launch (448,010 tweets), 41% higher than the CW’s “Vampire Diaries” (317,240) and more than doubling its August 2013 total (185,760). Moreover, “Ravenswood” placed among the month’s Top 10 most-tweeted original cable TV series (287,020 tweets), higher than both A&E’s “Duck Dynasty” (261,434) and E’s “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” (232,918).
