Univision Network Ranked #2 in Primetime For Entire Week, Out-performing ABC, CBS, and NBC Among Adults 18-34

Univision’s Telenovelas “Lo Que Vida Me Robó” and “Qué Pobres Tan Ricos” Helped Network Rank #1 Among Adults 18-34 in M-F 9 p.m. and 10 p.m. Hours

Univision Broadcast Prime Highlights Week of January 27, 2014 to February 2, 2014

 

  •  For the entire week (M-SU), Univision ranked #2 versus the English-language broadcast networks (ABC, CBS, NBC, or FOX) among Adults 18-34, placing #4 or higher on five nights.

 

  • On Monday night, Univision ranked as the #3 broadcast network among Adults 18-34, out-delivering FOX and NBC.  Univision’s entire primetime lineup ranked among the top 15 programs for Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34.  
  • On Wednesday night, Univision ranked as the #2 broadcast network among Adults 18-34 and #4 among Adults 18-49, out-delivering CBS in each demographic.  Univision’s entire primetime lineup ranked among the top 15 programs for Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34.

 

  • On Thursday night, Univision ranked as the #4 broadcast network among both Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34, out-delivering ABC in each demographic.  Univision’s entire primetime lineup ranked among the top 15 programs for Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34.

 

  • On Friday night, Univision ranked as the #2 broadcast network among Adults 18-34 and #3 among Adults 18-49, out-delivering FOX and NBC in each demographic.  Univision’s entire primetime lineup ranked among the top 15 programs for Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34.

 

  • On Saturday night, “Sabado Gigante” averaged 1.9 Million Total Viewers 2+, 688,000 Adults 18-49, and 280,000 Adults 18-34.

 

  • On Sunday night, against the Super Bowl, Univision ranked as the #4 broadcast network among both Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34, out-delivering CBS and NBC in each demographic.  Univision’s entire primetime lineup ranked among the top 15 programs for Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34.

 

ü  At 7 p.m., Univision aired “Aqui y Ahora” (Here and Now), which saw increases over the prior week among Adults 18-49 (725,000, +10%), and Adults 18-34 (277,000, +33%).

 

ü  At 8 p.m., Univision aired the movie “Voces Inocentes,” which averaged 1.9 Million Total Viewers 2+, 892,000 Adults 18-49, and 406,000 Adults 18-34.

ü  Following at 10 p.m., “Sal y Pimienta” (Salt and Pepper) averaged 1.7 Million Total Viewers 2+, 738,000 Adults 18-49, and 272,000 Adults 18-34.

 

  •  Univision’s 8 p.m. telenovela “Por Siempre Mi Amor” (Forever Yours) helped Univision rank as the #4 broadcast network for the hour (M-F) among Adults 18-34.  The novela saw increases over the prior week among Adults 18-49 (1.4 Million, +7%) and Adults 18-34 (693,000, +12%).

 

  • Univision’s 9 p.m. telenovela “Lo Que Vida Me Robó” (What Life Took From Me) helped Univision rank as the #1 broadcast network for the hour (M-F) among Adults 18-34 and #4 among Adults 18-49.  The novela saw increases over the prior week among Adults 18-49 (2.2 Million, +4%) and Adults 18-34 (1.1 Million, +8%).

 

  • Univision’s 10 p.m. telenovela “Qué Pobres Tan Ricos” (The Poor, Rich Family) helped Univision rank as the #1 broadcast network for the hour (M-F) among Adults 18-34 and #3 among Adults 18-49.  The novela saw increases over the prior week among Total Viewers 2+ (3.3 Million, +5%), Adults 18-49 (1.8 Million, +4%), and Adults 18-34 (833,000, +12%).
