Why do the worst shows do so well in the ratings??

  • GabrielleFan

Y&R is a fantastic show and deserves everyone of those viewers. The show is on fire and Jill Farren Phelps deserves so much of the credit. She’s doing a wonderful job! Very happy for Y&R

Go CBS especially Y&R and B&B……………….

I’m not a Phelps fan, but I AM a huge YR fan and a viewer since the late ’70’s. I’m so glad that the show, and soaps in general are returning to healthier numbers. I do think that this year’s winter weather has had a part in a larger audience, however, even if the numbers drop off in the next couple of weeks this is still a huge success story for CBS. Great news!

Although not mentioned on this site anywhere, ABC put out a press release touting series high numbers for “The Chew” as well (3.34 million viewers) for the week of January 27.

There was no mention of GH in that ABC press release.
