The CW Up in Adults 18-49 & Total Viewers, Season to Date

With the week of 2/9 coming to a close, for the 2013-14 season to date, The CW is up 14% in adults 18-49 year to year (0.8/2 vs. 0.7/2), up 3% in total viewers (1.9M vs. 1.84M), and flat in adults 18-34 (0.7/2). (Data is Most Current Nielsen ratings through 2/9/14).

 

Additionally, some Live + 7 Day highlights for The CW from the week of 1/20-1/26/14:

 

On a percentage basis, The CW is the most time-shifted network in primetime for the week, averaging a 46% lift in total viewers versus L+SD, a 58% gain in A18-34, and a 59% jump in A18-49

 

With Live + 7 Day data added in, THE ORIGINALS rises to become the second-highest rated show on The CW for the week in A18-49, growing 55% (1.7 vs. 1.1) versus L+SD. THE ORIGINALS had a 66% gain in A18-34 (1.4 vs 0.9) and a 67% increase in W18-34 (2.0 vs. 1.2) for the week. This season, THE ORIGINALS is averaging 3.3 million viewers in L+7 ratings, 1.6 in A18-34, 2.2 in W18-34, and 1.7 in A18-49.

 

SUPERNATURAL had its most watched episode of the season in L+7 (3.53 million), a 35% gain from L+SD. SUPERNATURAL rose 44% in A18-34 (1.3 vs 0.9), and 36% in A18-49 (1.5 vs 1.1) in L+7 vs L+SD.

 

ARROW saw a 62% gain in total viewers versus L+SD, rising to 4.05 million viewers for the week. ARROW also gained 63% in A18-34 (1.3 vs 0.8) and 67% in A18-49 (1.5 vs. 0.9). Season to date, ARROW is averaging 4.1 million viewers in L+7 data, 1.3 in A18-34 and a 1.5 in A18-49.

 

THE VAMPIRE DIARIES also rose to 4.05 million viewers for the week, with a 49% increase over L+SD. THE VAMPIRE DIARIES saw a 58% jump in A18-34 in L+7 vs. L+SD (1.9 vs. 1.2), and a 76% gain in W18-34 (3.0 vs. 1.7). Season to date, THE VAMPIRE DIARIES averages a 2.0 in A18-34, 2.9 in W18-34, 1.9 in A18-49 and 3.8 million viewers in L+7.

 

REIGN averaged 2.6 million viewers in L+7, a 49% gain from L+SD, and had a 43% gain in A18-49 (1.0 vs 0.7), a 44% gain in W18-34 (1.3 vs 0.9), and a 33% increase in A18-34 (0.8 vs 0.6).
