E! DELIVERS YEAR ON YEAR GROWTH IN FEBRUARY AND SCORES THE NETWORK’S FIFTH MONTH OF CONSECUTIVE GAINS IN TOTAL VIEWERS AND YOUNG ADULTS ACROSS PRIMETIME
Los Angeles, CA, February 25, 2014 – E! continued its momentum in February scoring a primetime audience gain of 5% among Total Viewers (504,000 vs. 481,000) versus February 2013 (8-11pm). The network also improved with year on year growth across all target demos including Adults 18-49, Women 18-49, Adults 18-34, Women 18-34 and Households. For the month, February 2014 was E!’s best February since 2012 in these key demos and the network’s the fifth consecutive month of year-to-year growth across Primetime among Total Viewers, Households and younger targets including Adults 18-34 and Women 18-34. Key growth contributors in 2014 include the ongoing success of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, new series #RichKids of Beverly Hills, as well as core franchises E! News, Fashion Police and Live from the Red Carpet.
On the digital side, following a record-breaking January 2014, E! posted its eighteenth consecutive month of yearly growth in digital internal unique visitors for February to date (Adobe Analytics). As of January 2014 (comScore, most recent available), Eonline delivered its third consecutive record high in multiplatform (25 million) and mobile uniques (15 million), with mobile continuing to fuel growth (62% of uniques). As of January, Eonline remains top ranked in multiplatform and mobile uniques amongst Entertainment News (#1 in W18-49, A18-34, W18-34), Womens Lifestyle (#1 in total, A18-49, W18-49, A18-34, W18-34) and Entertainment Cable Network sites (#1 in A18-49, A18-34, W18-34). Additionally, @eonline maintained its #1 Klout score (social influence) in Entertainment News and TV Networks (tied only with CNN and ESPN).
