The Walking Dead March 2 - 2

Ellen DeGeneres and Lupita Nyong’o took down some very powerful zombies last night as the Oscars telecast beat The Walking Dead among adults 18-49, a feat that the Winter Olympics did not manage. Sunday’s installment of The Walking Dead earned a 6.4 adults 18-49 rating, down from last week’s 6.6, compared to The Oscars 12.0 adults 18-49 rating in the hour, per Deadline. That means, The Oscars outperformed The Walking Dead by 87 percent in the demo. Of course, a 6.4 adults 18-49 rating is still gigantic, and will make The Walking Dead the week’s top scripted program by a large margin.
