ABC Friday Prime (8-11pm – 6.8 million and 1.6/5 in AD18-49): ABC won its 4th consecutive Friday in Adults 18-49, beating runner-up NBC’s all-original lineup by 23% (1.6/5 vs. 1.3/4). It was the Net’s 8th straight non-Olympic Friday night victory in the key young adult sales demo. ABC was also the Friday’s most-watched network overall (6.8 million).

(8:30-9pm – 3.8 million and 0.9/3 in AD18-49): In the 8:30pm half-hour, ABC’s was up 13% week to week in Adults 18-49.
(9-10pm – 8.0 million and 2.0/7 in AD18-49): More than doubling its lead-in at 9pm (+122%) in Adults 18-49, ABC’s beat out its closest competition in the hour by 33% (2.0/7 vs. 1.5/5 – NBC’s ). The ABC unscripted series gained 7% week to week in Total Viewers for its 2nd-largest audience ever and grew 5% from its week-ago Fast Affiliate Adult 18-49 . Season to date, Shark Tank is up double digits in Total Viewers (+13%) and Adults 18-49 (+10%) over the same point last year, on track for the series’ strongest season ever.

The ABC newsmagazine was also the most-watched show overall in the slot and won the hour for the 4th straight week in the key Adult 25-54 news demo. 20/20 featured exclusive reporting on a cold case murder that the ABC newsmagazine put back in the spotlight five years ago, leading to a bombshell decision in court just this week. 20/20 was up week to week by 17% in Total Viewers to match a season best performance. Building year to year in Total Viewers (+20%), Adults 18-49 (+7%) and Adults 25-54 (+5%), 20/20 is trending to deliver its most-watched season in 4 years – since the 2009-10 season.
