In All Friday Primetime, Univision Ranked as the #1 Broadcast Network Among Adults 18-34

 

Univision Broadcast Prime Highlights - Week of March 31, 2014 to April 6, 2014

 

·         On five nights this week, Univision ranked #4 or higher in primetime versus the English-language broadcast networks (ABC, CBS, NBC, or FOX) among both Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34.

 

·         On Monday night, Univision ranked as the #4 broadcast network among Adults 18-34, out-delivering FOX.  Univision’s entire primetime lineup ranked among the top 15 programs for both Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34.

 

·         On Tuesday night, Univision ranked as the #2 broadcast network among Adults 18-34 and #4 among Adults 18-49, out-delivering FOX in each demographic.  Univision’s entire primetime lineup ranked among the top 15 programs for both Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34.  

·         On Wednesday night, Univision’s entire primetime lineup ranked among the top 15 programs for both Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34.   

 

·         On Thursday night, Univision ranked as the #3 broadcast network among Adults 18-34 and #4 among Adults 18-49, out-delivering NBC in each demographic.  Univision’s entire primetime lineup ranked among the top 20 programs for both Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34.

 

·         On Friday night, Univision ranked as the #1 broadcast network among Adults 18-34 and #3 among Adults 18-49, out-delivering FOX and NBC in each demographic.  This marked the 15th time (9th on a Friday night) in the current 13/14 season that Univision ranked #1 among Adults 18-34.  Univision’s entire primetime lineup ranked among the top 15 programs for both Adults 18-34 and Adults 18-49.

 

·         On Saturday night, airing the second half of Liga Mexicana match “America/Cruz Azul” followed at 9 p.m. by a two hour edition of “Sabado Gigante” (Giant Saturday) helped Univision rank as the #2 broadcast network among both Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34, out-delivering ABC, CBS, and FOX in each demographic.  “Sabado Gigante” averaged 1.8 Million Total Viewers 2+, 700,000 Adults 18-49, and 229,000 Adults 18-34.

 

·         On Sunday night, Univision ranked as the #4 broadcast network among Adults 18-34, out-delivering NBC.  Univision’s entire primetime lineup ranked among the top 20 programs for Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34.

 

ü  At 7 p.m., “Aqui y Ahora” (Here and Now) saw increases over the prior week among Total Viewers 2+ (1.6 Million, +3%), Adults 18-49 (656,000, +14%), and Adults 18-34 (195,000, +2%).

ü  At 8 p.m., “Nuestra Belleza Latina” (Our Latin Beauty) averaged 2.4 Million Total Viewers 2+, 1.2 Million Adults 18-49, and 502,000 Adults 18-34.

ü  At 10:04 p.m., “Sal y Pimienta” (Salt and Pepper) saw increases over the prior week among Total Viewers 2+ (2.5 Million, +22%), Adults 18-49 (1.2 Million, +24%), and Adults 18-34 (445,000, +18%).

 

·         Univision’s 8 p.m. telenovela “Por Siempre Mi Amor” (Forever Yours) averaged 2.4 Million Total Viewers 2+, 1.2 Million Adults 18-49, and 541,000 Adults 18-34.

 

·         Univision’s 9 p.m. telenovela “Lo Que Vida Me Robó” (What Life Took From Me) helped Univision rank as the #4 broadcast network for the hour (M-F) among both Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34.  The telenovela averaged 3.8 Million Total Viewers 2+, 2.0 Million Adults 18-49, and 914,000 Adults 18-34.

 

·         Univision’s 10 p.m. telenovela “Qué Pobres Tan Ricos” (The Poor, Rich Family) helped Univision rank as the #1 broadcast network for the hour (M-F) among Adults 18-34.  The telenovela saw growth over the prior week among Total Viewers 2+ (3.1 Million, +7%), Adults 18-49 (1.7 Million, +11%), and Adults 18-34 (795,000, +14%).
