ABC Friday Prime : ABC ranked #1 on Friday for the 2nd week in a row among Adults 18-49 (1.3/5-tie), holding the top position on the night for the 6th time in 7 weeks. Please Note: Overall TV Usage levels on the night were down -4% week to week in Adults 18-49 (27.9% vs. 29.0%)
· The second night of a 2-nightevent was the #1 TV program on Friday in Adults 18-49. In fact, has now ranked as Friday’s #1 TV series on 22 of 23 original telecasts this season in the key young adult sales demo.
· ABC’swas the night’s #1 news program, outdelivering NBC’s News Special (8-9pm) by wide margins in Total Viewers and key Adults (AD18-49/AD25-54).
(8-8:30pm – 5.6 million and 1.1/5 in AD18-49): At 8pm, ABC’s took second in its half-hour among Total Viewers and Adults 18-49.
(8:30-9pm – 3.9 million and 0.8/3 in AD18-49): In the 8:30pm half-hour, ABC’s season finale of held even week to week in Total Viewers and paced within 1-tenth of its week-ago Fast Affiliate Adult 18-49 .
(9-10pm – 6.5 million and 1.6/6 in AD18-49): Doubling its lead-in at 9pm in Adults 18-49 (+100%), ABC’s dominated its hour over all-original competition, beating CBS’ by 23% (1.3/4), NBC’s by 33% (1.2/4) and Fox’s by 45% (1.1/4). On average, Shark Tank is up by double digits in Total Viewers (+14%) and Adults 18-49 (+10%) over the same point last year, trending as the series’ strongest season ever.
(10-11pm – 5.7 million and 1.4/5 in AD18-49): During the 10pm hour, ABC’s ran in a virtual tie for #1 in Adults 18-49 with CBS’ (1.4/5 vs. 1.5/5), while beating NBC’s by 75% (0.8/3). Growing season to date in Total Viewers (+21%) and Adults 25-54 (+5%), is on track to deliver its most-watched season in 4 years – since the 2009-10 season.
