The seventh season of Mad Men premiered to 2.3 million viewers, down 32 percent from 3.4 million for the season six premiere. It was the lowest rated season premiere since season two back in 2008 when AMC was still new to the original series game.

The 1.0 million adults 18-49 viewers should translate to a 0.8 adults 18-49 rating when the final Sunday cable ratings are released tomorrow. Your predictions were too optimistic.
