HBO Sports Receives Five Sports Emmy Awards

Winners were announced tonight at the 35th Annual Sports Emmy® Awards in New York City.

 

HBO® collected five Sports Emmy Awards, tied for second-highest among individual networks.

 

Hard Knocks: Training Camp with the Cincinnati Bengals, in conjunction with NFL Films, took home three awards. The Hard Knocks franchise has earned 11 Sports Emmy Awards since launching in 2001.

 

24/7 Red Wings/Maple Leafs: Road to the NHL Winter Classic and Real Sports with Bryant Gumbel each captured one award. The “24/7” has now earned 18 total Sports Emmy Awards since launching in 2007, while Real Sports with Bryant Gumbel extends its all-time total to 26 awards.
