UniMás Reports Double-Digit Percentage Increases During May Sweeps Among Adults 18-49 (+62%) and Adults 18-34 (+74%)

 

UniMás was the No. 2 Spanish-Language Network Beating Telemundo During the Monday-Friday 10 p.m. Hour for Tenth Consecutive Week

 

UniMás Broadcast Prime Highlights – Week of April 28, 2014 to May 4, 2014

 

·         May Sweeps to-date, UniMás experienced double-digit percentage gains among Adults 18-49 (+62%) and Adults 18-34 (+74%) over the prior sweeps period-to-date, while Telemundo reported double digit declines of (-27%) and (-32%) respectively.

 

·         For the tenth consecutive week, UniMás was the #2 Spanish-language network, beating Telemundo during the Monday-Friday 10 p.m. hour. UniMás held a double-digit advantage over Telemundo for the 10 p.m. hour among Total Viewers 2+ (+18%), Adults 18-49 (+30%), and Adults 18-34 (+53%) viewers.

 

·         UniMás was the #1 Spanish-language network on Saturday night, out-delivering Telemundo among Total Viewers 2+ (+53%), Adults 18-49 (+75%), and Adults 18-34 (+49%).

 

ü  This marks the third consecutive Saturday night UniMás out-delivered Telemundo among Adults 18-34.

 

ü  UniMás kicked off the night airing the Liga Mexicana soccer match between Cruz Azul vs Leon.  The final match averaged 1.4 Million Total Viewers 2+, 848,000 Adults 18-49, and 430,000 Adults 18-34 and was the #1 program for the night among Adults 18-34.  The soccer match was also a top pick among Total Viewers 2+ (#9) and Adults 18-49 (#5) for the night.

 

·         On Tuesday night, UniMás clinched the #2 Spanish-language network rank, out-delivering Telemundo by double-digit margins among Adults 18-34 (+11%).

 

·         On Wednesday night, UniMás maintained its #2 Spanish-language rank, beating Telemundo for the second consecutive night this week among Adults 18-34 (+36%).

 

·         In the current 2013/2014 season, UniMás reported primetime audience growth among Total Viewers 2+ (+12%) and Adults 18-49 (+11%), and Adults 18-34 (+6%) over the comparable weeks in the 2012/2013 season. 

 

·         Versus the same week a year ago (04/29/13-05/05/13), UniMás reported double-digit percentage growth among Total Viewers 2+ (+44%), Adults 18-49 (+52%), and Adults 18-34 (+77%) viewers.

 

·         UniMás, on average, more than doubled the combined audience of Estrella, Azteca, and MundoFox among Total Viewers 2+ (+107%), Adults 18-49 (+161%) and Adults 18-34 (+201%)
