‘CNN Tonight’ Delivers Two Year Low in Adults 25-54 & Four Year Low in Viewers on Friday, May 9

According to Nielsen, CNN’s 9PM/ET hour on Friday May 9, CNN Tonight hosted by Bill Weir, delivered just 48,000 adults 25-54, for its lowest Adults 25-54 rating in over two years and 226,000 total viewers for its lowest viewer average in over four years. Both viewers and and adults 25-54 ranked as the second lowest delivery for CNN in the time period in nearly 15 years.  On Friday,  CNN Tonight ranked #40 in the top rated telecasts for the day averaging a barely 200K with P2+.
Additionally, CNN only averaged 67,000 adults 25-54 in the 8-11PM/ET primetime demo.
FNC’s The Kelly File won the cable news timeslot with 1.36 million total viewers and nearly 193,000 adults 25-54.
