After thirty-four weeks of the 2013-2014 broadcast television season (through Sunday, May 18, 2014), NBC is in first place among adults 18-49 with a 2.7 rating average, up 13 percent from last season. FOX was second with a 2.5, even with last season. CBS was third with a 2.4 rating average, down 17 percent from last season. ABC was fourth with a 2.1, down 5 percent from last season. The CW finished fifth with a 0.8 adults 18-49 rating average, up 14% from last season.
Among total viewers, CBS is ahead for the season averaging 10.732 million viewers. NBC is second with 9.278 million, followed by ABC with 7.591 million, FOX with 7.352 million, and CW with 1.91 million.
Each adults 18-49 rating point is a percentage of the adults 18-49 US TV population and equals 1.265 million adults 18-49. The season-to-date numbers are "Most Current" ratings, which are Live+7 Day for all but the two most recent weeks and Live+ Same Day for the two most recent weeks.
