2013-2014 Season: NBC Leads Among Adults 18-49 & CBS Tops Total Viewers Through Week 35 Ending May 25, 2014
After thirty-five weeks of the 2013-2014 broadcast television season (through Sunday, May 25, 2014), NBC is in first place among adults 18-49 with a 2.7 rating average, up 17 percent from last season. FOX and CBS tied for second with a 2.4. FOX was down 4 percent from last season while CBS was down 17 percent. ABC was fourth with a 2.1, down 5 percent from last season. The CW finished fifth with a 0.8 adults 18-49 rating average, up 14% from last season.
Among total viewers, CBS is ahead for the season averaging 10.638 million viewers. NBC is second with 9.211 million, followed by ABC with 7.603 million, FOX with 7.318 million, and CW with 1.885 million.
Each adults 18-49 rating point is a percentage of the adults 18-49 US TV population and equals 1.265 million adults 18-49. The season-to-date numbers are “Most Current” ratings, which are Live+7 Day for all but the two most recent weeks and Live+ Same Day for the two most recent weeks.
