NBA Finals on ABC: Game One Delivers Strong 10.4 Overnight Rating

NBA Finals Wins the Night for 38th Consecutive Time

ESPN3 Audience Increases for Finals

 

Game One of the 2014 NBA Finals, in which the San Antonio Spurs defeated the Miami Heat, 110-95, delivered a strong 10.4 overnight rating on ABC, according to Nielsen. The game peaked with a 12.7 in the final quarter hour.

 

The broadcast marks the 38th consecutive time an NBA Finals has game won the night across all of television. The overnight rating nearly doubled its competition.

 

 

NBA Finals Scores Big on ESPN3

NBA Finals Game One on ESPN3 generated 312,000 unique viewers, up two percent from Game One last season.
