SIMULCAST PREMIERE OF “METASTASIS” ACROSS UNIVISION, UNIMÁS AND GALAVISIÓN REACHES 3.4 MILLION TOTAL VIEWERS


The Show Ranked No. 1 in Los Angeles in the Time Period


  • The premiere of “Metastasis” (Latin American Adaption of “Breaking Bad” produced by Sony Pictures Television) on Sunday, June 8 reached 3.4 million Total Viewers 2+ who tuned in to all of part of the one-hour broadcast and averaged 2.1 million Total Viewers 2+ and 1.2 million Adults 18-49 during its simulcast on Univision, UniMás and Galavisión at 10 p.m. ET/PT (9 p.m. Central).
    • The one hour broadcast of “Metastasis” also out-performed Telemundo’s “Nuevo Dia Especial La Voz Kids” special (10:18 p.m. – 11 p.m.) by strong margins across all key demographics, including Total Viewers 2+ (+47% Adv.), Adults 18-49 (+68% Adv.) and Adults 18-34 (+44% Adv.).

 

  • Locally, the simulcast of “Metastasis” on UniMás and Univision stations had higher viewership than any other broadcast station in time period in Los Angeles among Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34.
    • The simulcast television event also delivered higher viewership than the Telemundo, Azteca, MundoFox and Estrella stations combined in Dallas, Phoenix and Sacramento among Total Viewers, Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34; Miami among Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34; San Francisco among Adults 18-49; and Los Angeles among Adults 18-34.

 

  • Additionally, the finale of “La Viuda Negra” (The Black Widow) which also aired on Sunday, June 8 (8 p.m. – 10 p.m.) reached 4.6 million Total Viewers 2+, who tuned in to all or part of the two-hour simulcast broadcast across Univision, UniMás and Galavisión.
    • Locally, the simulcast finale of “La Viuda Negra” on UniMás and Univision stations had higher viewership than any other broadcast station in the time period in Los Angeles among Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34.
      • The simulcast finale also had higher viewership than the Telemundo, Azteca, MundoFox and Estrella stations combined in Sacramento among Total Viewers, Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34; Houston among Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34; and Los Angeles among Adults 18-34.
