CBS SUNDAY MORNING WITH CHARLES OSGOOD posted year-to-year gains in viewers and was the #1 Sunday morning news program with adults 25-54 (the demographic that matters most to those who advertise in news) and viewers, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for June 8, 2014.
CBS SUNDAY MORNING delivered 5.50 million viewers (up +3% from 5.32m) and a 1.3/7 with adults 25-54.
Television year-to-date, CBS SUNDAY MORNING is up +5% in viewers (5.96m from 5.66m) and even in adults 25-54 (1.5/07) compared to last year.
Anchored by Lee Cowan, Sunday’s broadcast featured Rita Braver’s exploration of the complex issue of transgender children and the challenges they and their parents face; Anna Werner’s interview with actress Minnie Driver; Mo Rocca’s behind-the-scenes report on the Tony Awards; and a look at photographer David Katzenstein’s ongoing project to document Times Square.
