In week 40 of the broadcast television season ending Sunday, June 29, 2014, NBC and Univision tied for number one among adults 18-49, each with a 1.1 adults 18-49 rating average. ABC, CBS and FOX tied for third with each earning a 1.0 adults 18-49 rating average. The CW finished sixth with a 0.2 adults 18-49 rating average.
CBS won the week with total viewers, with 5.343 million viewers, ahead of second place NBC, with 4.357 million. ABC took third with 4.248 million viewers. They were followed by FOX with 2.977 million, Univision with 2.825 million and the CW with 0.785 million.
Each adults 18-49 rating point is a percentage of the adults 18-49 US TV population and equals 1.265 million adults 18-49.
