FOX News Channel to Present Special Fourth of July Coverage

FOX News Channel (FNC) will present special coverage on Friday, July 4th, 2014 beginning with FOX & Friends' (6-9AM/ET)  live coverage of Ohio’s largest Fourth of July celebration, “The Americana Festival,” in Centerville, OH.

Additionally, from 12-1PM/ET, FNC will present special “Proud to be an American” hosted by FOX & Friends’ Brian Kilmeade, which showcases patriotic celebrations that took place on Memorial Day across the county and feature man-on-the-street interviews with Americans sharing their thoughts on why this country is meaningful to them. FOX News’ top daytime and primetime talent will also contribute to the program with special messages on why they are proud to be an American.   On social media, viewers will be able to engage with FOX News using the hashtag #ProudAmerican.

In primetime, FOX News will also present the one-hour special, “America: A Kelly File Special,”  at 9PM/ET. The program will focus on the film “America,” a new political documentary by filmmaker Dinesh D’Souza. The special will feature an extended analysis of the big themes in the film and Kelly will debate them with both D’Souza and former member of the Weather Underground Professor Bill Ayers.
